Doesn’t hurt much
I got this machine because I’m pre-diabetic. I’d like to get in front of it.This machine is easy to use and requires a small amount of blood. The lancet doesn’t hurt much. It’s easy to take it out the only thing is there is no cover or case for it. Otherwise I really like the app, the functionality is fool proof. So far it’s great.Update: I still like the machine a lot. My co worker got one after seeing how tiny the lancet is BUT the app keeps disconnecting. It’s easy to connect again but a little annoying. Otherwise it works great.

I love this adorable meter!
This is a great BGM. I have used another one touch BGM (Ultra 2) and a metene meter, and this is by far the best and most accurate. I love the app, it makes it a lot easier since. I also love the color graph on the meter and the smiley face and achievements! The strips are a bit expensive but not as expensive compared to my OneTouch Ultra 2. Customer support for the meter is pretty good too! I really like how thin and small the lancet needle is, I don’t care for the clear cap because it makes it hard to find if you drop it, but Walgreens makes a version that is blue instead. You can also find some really cute “face plate” stickers for this meter on Pump Peelz website. Overall this is a great meter and I’m more than satisfied with the purchase. I do recommend putting some Velcro command strips in there to secure the plastic holder inside of the case.

Works perfectly!
My One touch ultra 2 was getting a little long in the tooth, this is a perfect replacement for it it needs different test strips though so I had to change everything and it took a little work but getting the app to work on my phone to sync up with that little device wasn't as bad as I thought. So now they link up after every reading, and I can track my blood glucose over 90 day period instead of a week or month on the old unit and I can add customized icons and things like that and it has a bunch of functionality that I really like.

Convenient all in one holder no need for a case or to open one.
I'm new to this but this machine is simple and convenient to use. The meter, lancer and bottle of test strips all clip into a plastic holder, it even has a belt clip on the back. For testing the only thing, you need remove from the clip is the lancer. I just tested myself twice in a row and had two readings of 127...so I guess its accurate. The two things I don't like is the cost of the strips. $.50 per strip. if you are testing 4 times a day you blow through a can of 30 in a week. But I suppose you pay for accuracy and repeatability? The only other thing, though minor is the lance is dialed up to its max of 7 to penetrate the side of my finger. I've gotten use to pressing it slightly into my finger, otherwise it bounces uselessly off my skinIt also has a full apple symbol for before meals indication and an eaten apple symbol for after a meal reading. It has other things like averages, summaries once you have enough readings to summery. It is easy to use and navigate through the screens,I was considering buying another meter which uses cheap stirps but not sure if they are dependable. I figure once my level comes down, I won't be testing so often so will be cheaper that way too.

The ONE TOUCH (Vero Reflect)
Me and my wife use this one touch Verio reflect and as far as accuracy , well my sugar dropped to 32 I was feeling like passing out so I did the test which told me 32 , I always carry a GO2(Kit) with me for low sugar, this machine was right on and my wife has diabetes and hers was 287 which she was feeling a little woozy so she did the test which showed 287, I would say The accuracy is straight up no slow, The test strips seem to work really well I did find out if I don’t give it enough blood, it shows up as put a new test strip in and then once I give it enough blood It reads correctly The lancers that came with the kit do not work for me. I had to use the 23G needle because of my hands have calluses from working but my wife’s it works perfect with what came with the kid with the lances. her hands are basically dish pan hands very soft so it worked extremely well for her. I just wish they had more test strips than 30 there should be 100 there is enough room in that bottle but all in all These units Will be with us for the rest of our lives I did buy a brand new one just for a back up if one gives out and also got extra batteries which is available on Amazon and you get eight of them for a decent price, I don’t know about everybody else, but it really does his job and I don’t care if it’s just one number or two numbers off. It’s close enough for me and my wife that it does save our lives. at least we know what the number say we better get on the ball and do something about it so we don’t have to call EMS. I hope all of your units work, the same as ours because they are a lifesaver. Good luck and keep Lansing. Just make sure you give it enough blood and mine has worked every time And also my wife’s which we have been married for 27 years, I am going to full life, All of you take care of yourself and 🤞 Good luck - PS- I took a picture of my kit which I have enhanced using a BRAUN hair cutting case, found another one similar to this case on Amazon, which is an empty case to store these haircutters Around eight dollars, At least I don’t have to worry about running out of anything if I’m out on the road and get stuck somewhere for a few days or more I hope the photos help you.

Works but intermittent problems
First - I did not get the Carry pouch shown in the videos. so I have to find a new pouch.Set up was relatively easy. App asks for way too many unnecessary questions. They need to know if I am male or female, age/dob or what type of diabetes I have ( I don't) etc. None of these are optional.Testing itself is relatively easy. Installing lancet was not clear at all from the quick start guide. The test strips don't work often. I am facing around 50% failure. either it says error 4 or error 5. Sometimes it just turns off. This sucks because you have to prick a 2nd time to get the test done.EDIT: Reduce rating to ONE STAR. I will initiate the return process for this product. The test strips fail at a high rate. This morning I had 3 strips all go bad. Cost of strips is about 1$/test strip. so I just lost 3$ and no result.
