I got this as a safety for my beach camping trips. I got the correct rope that I ordered. It came in a little mesh bag and inside there is a velcro strap to help tie the rope buddle together. Please note you buy the correct strength rope for your vehicle. My 2door Jeep JL is about 3 ton so I got the 11 ton rope. A minimum off 3 times the weight of your vehicle should be the strength of rope you buy. Always safer to have recovery gear with you if you go off road alot.
