These shoes feel like AIR!! PILLOWS! This is my first pair of legit dancing shoes (i had to stop using my expensive flats for swing dancing) and omg, I never felt more confident, gliding on the floor, spinning, turning, everything felt so smooth ( i know the floor plays a huge role too). But moral is, buy these shoes. Great for beginners and you wont look back!

I am delighted with my "salsa" shoes. The uppers are satin - tres elegante! And the insides are soft. The low heel makes them doable for this old lady, yet stylish for an upcoming wedding. In the accompanying picture, the shoes look short, but this is just because of the angle of the camera. I have a hammer toe, and the "v" accommodates it perfectly -- miraculous.

I am a true 9.5 . I ordered a 9.5 , it fits perfectly . VERY comfortable . Made huge difference for me to dance in shoes that were made for dance as opposed to fats or sneakers. They are so supportive and non slippy that my calves actually feel good after an hour of practice. I resisted for months and I'm so glad I finally gave in and bought these.

They are not slippery at all.The suede soles have the perfect amount of grip and slide. I was comfortable salsa dancing for 2 hours.This low heel has given me confidence to go to a higher heel, now.
