Are these batteries okay for just regular flashlights, candles, etc...or are they just for industrial?

These can be used be any application. Energizer markets these towards business customers/accounts, and sells them in larger packages (12-packs) vs. the Max batteries you will find in stores in 2-packs, 4-packs, etc. If you look at the spec charts for these batteries, they are similar/identical to Energizer Max. They are named "industrial" but can be used in any application where any D battery would be used.

Do the industrial batteries hold up/last longer than the regular batteries?

These are alkaline batteries so they will not last as long as lithium batteries.

The expiration date is 10 years from the manufacturer date.

The box says made in the USA and i highly recommend them for longevity

Great to have on hand!

It's great to be able to buy in this quantity to have in reserve. I have battery operated outdoor floodlights that take 4 D-Cells per unit. They last a LONG TIME through cold weather and grueling heat (coastal southern states).
