These are REALLY fun with one small problem!
These are REALLY fun with one small problem! I will get to that in a bit - first, the good!This is so simple but so cool - a cardboard headset that you unfold, refold and velcro into place. It comes with a strap that also velcros in and should allow you to use the headset hands free. You have to download apps that allow you to experience virtual reality in 3d. I have found the most fun ones are the roller coasters - super fun and my kids are obsessed. You can also do Google Street View which allows you to see places around the world in VR - great way to introduce kids to the great, wide world outside their own sheltered space. My kids are already making lists of places to go! Anyway, you put the phone in where it says right on the headset and velcro that closed.The bad comes in with the strap and the openings on the sides of the phone. The strap is really small. My head is not huge (I am a normal sized woman) and I cannot use the headset with the strap as it is just too tight. It works for the kids but not adults. Second is the fact that my phone has already crashed to the floor because the sides of the space where the phone goes are open and without a case on...slip slide and crash to the floor it went! You have to keep your hands on the sides or put some sort of tape to keep it in when kids are playing with it. Just a few small things that could be improved but overall a super fun little toy!I also want to add that I was able to purchase this item at a discount in return for a fair, honest, and unbiased review of the product.
