Works great, little fiddly to install but once up and running it seemlessly provides wifi to an area of my parents home preciously inaccessible. Compatible with Vodafone router. I set the network name and password to the same as current router and therefore no set up required at device level. Just works 👍

What I loved: The setup was really straightforward — TP-Link always does a good job with that. Once connected, the coverage boost was noticeable straight away. Dead zones became usable zones, and devices held onto their signal much more reliably. Speeds are solid, especially with the WiFi 6E band available. When it’s in a good placement, it genuinely feels like you’ve extended your main router rather than sticking on a cheap repeater. What made me sigh loudly: Performance depends a lot on where you put it. Move it slightly too far from the main signal and the speeds drop more than expected. Not a deal-breaker, just requires some experimenting to get the best out of it. Should you buy it? Yes — as long as you place it well, it’s a great way to extend coverage and boost speeds around the house. For mesh setups, it integrates nicely and works reliably once dialled in. Easy setup. Strong speeds. Good coverage improvement. Just a bit sensitive to placement. Still recommend — especially for WiFi 6/6E homes needing a coverage boost.

Super easy to set up, connects very quickly. Even though I am the opposite side of the house to the router I was able to set it up without going near the router. I live in a shared house so I often have difficulties with the WiFi especially as I am at the opposite end of the house from the router. My computer used to regularly disconnect from the WiFi all the time but that has never occurred while using this WiFi i extender. I connected it to my Chromebook with no issues at all. It provides a stable connection despite taking up almost no space. Great stability with video calls. I didn't have to put it on a wall or anything like its just resting on my desk and doing its job. I connected it to my Chromebook using an Ethernet cable. Great Wifi Extender I highly recommend it.

TP-Link WiFi Extender works very well as you would expect from TP-Link easy to install and setup on my system. Will use again!

Had the older version, needed more boost as Vodafone router in different room from television and Firestick. It worked straight away after wifi pairing process with router unit. Signal is now much better.

Works, but has a pitfall - it’s advertised as having fast wifi speeds, and while this is technically the case with the wifi standards, it is bottlenecked by the 100Mbps “Fast” ethernet port, meaning that if you want to use this for any speed above 100Mbps over an Ethernet backhaul, this is not the product you need. However if you are comfortable with the 100Mbps Ethernet backhaul constraint or only want to use WiFi backhaul, it works great, is value for money, and requires little to no set up - you just plug it in and it works. I however will likely be refunding due to this limitation.

This is the second time I have bought a TP Link product based on reviews. Never again. Connects with any router it says. Easy one step setup. Really! The WPS set up wouldn't connect so I downloaded the app which is awful to navigate and couldn't get a stable comnection. Said I was connected to WiFi then I wasn't. Set up security features but when I went to client it said this network is unsecured, which it isn't, in fact we have additional security due to working from home as well as an office. My head was starting to spin. I may be be getting older but I am still quite capable with tech. The final insult came when I decided to delete my TP Link account in it's entirety. That isn't as easy as it should be and at the end of it the final message was we will contact you within 72 hours to tell you whether or not we have been able to delete your account!! Get it done, we are not friends.

The TP-Link RE315 WiFi extender has been a great addition to my home network. Setup was really straightforward, thanks to the EasyMesh technology and clear instructions. It works seamlessly with my existing router, extending the WiFi signal to parts of the house that previously had weak or no coverage. The dual-band AC1200 speeds are solid for streaming, video calls, and general browsing, with very little drop-off from my main router’s connection. The two external antennas definitely help with range and signal stability. I’ve also used it as an access point wired via Ethernet, which is handy for connecting devices that don’t have strong WiFi. The compact design and UK plug make it unobtrusive and easy to position. One thing to watch out for: if your wall socket is quite low or crowded, the size of the extender might block neighbouring sockets or cause clearance issues. Overall, a dependable and affordable way to improve WiFi coverage without the need for a full mesh system. Highly recommended if you’re struggling with dead zones or spotty wireless at home.

I never was able to use it ,wouldn't work with my eero router tried every way possible no luck ,it's the first thing I have purchased from Amazon that I have been disappointed with finished up buying an eero extender no problems
