Finally an insole that relieves ball of foot pain... And lasts!
BLUF: I'm 6', 195lbs, and highly recommend these insoles for ball of foot pain. Last long, relieve pain, and stay put. I've already ordered two pairs, and will be buying a third soon.I've been on the search for a product to relieve ball of foot pain (self-diagnosed metatarsalgia, MD from Dr. Google) for about 6 years. Adhesive solutions just don't last long because the adhesive gets all gunked up. The over the toe(s) solutions just stretch out and become useless. As a result, I've resorted to an insole solution-- trying various versions. Other insoles don't seem to have the padding in the right place (trying to treat the problem by gently pushing metatarsal joints up and forward), but they just don't seem to be working. Others that have provided padding don't actually hold up or stay put during anything other than general walking. Enter the Dr. Foot insoles. Checks all the boxes providing sufficient padding without being bulky, stays put while running or working out, and relieves pain from metatarsalgia. I swap the insoles through all my shoes from dress shoes, to steel toes, to sneakers. Highly recommend.

I bought many
I have these in four different shoes. My feet pronate and these prevent any type of strain on my ankle, or achilles. I also no longer get plantar faciatis. They do wear out if you excercise a lot like I do but you should easily get a year out of a pair.

Soft and cushy
I find it a bit too sit and cushy. I tried another insert at the same time and will be going with that one.

Need more then 1pair
I must say I didn't put these in my shoes when I first purchased them but I wished I did. I can really feel the difference when I walk or stand with these n my shoes. It's like walking on clouds I definitely need more so I don't have to take them out n put n my other shoes. I highly recommend these.

Met pad in worst location, why heel pad?
I personally found these very uncomfortable for my condition : ball-of-foot pain ( metatarsalgia ) . The met pad is right at the ball of the foot, making the pain worse - it needs to be just behind the ball of the foot. Why is there a heel pad ? I don't understand why I would need my heel lifted up. That is also quite uncomfortable. I wore these for a few days in case I might find them to help, but they did not work for me. I also tried both sizes, since I am a 9 and you can use either one in that case. I hoped the met pad placement might be different, but ti was not enough.

Great fire metatarsal support
I put these in my sorrel boots. My orthotics were too thick, but these work great. Give me arch support and metatarsal support.
