This met my needs perfectly. It is solidly made and heavy so it isn’t prone to dents. Works well for filling my Nespresso refillable capsules.

I got this to re-purpose for a pipe tamper. The small end was perfect for some of my pipes but the large end was way to big (as expected) so I ground it down from 15/16" to 5/8 " and now it's perfect for my larger pipes. I think I have the nicest pipe tamper in existence!

The finish is acceptable and of good quality but a bit under sized for the Nespresso compatible refillable capsules. I expected the fit to be similar to the tampers for the portafilter on my regular espresso machine. It's not, it's workable but requires more effort than if the tolerances were tighter. A friend purchased a similar tamper from another vendor that fits loosely as well, so I am assuming that there is a reason.

This tamper doesn’t sit flush with my reusable Nespresso pods but that’s not a huge deal. It’s not advertised to be so nothing wrong on their part. Works great, feels sturdy and well worth the price.

I liked the tamper but stopped using it for pressing coffee after purchasing CAPMESSO Reusable Espresso Capsules that included a nice small scoop. Now, I use the scoop instead the tamper. But, the temper is nice anyway.

This tamper is a great size and weight and works really well. I use it with the Seal Pods, which I'm extremely happy with. Though I wish RECAPS or SEAL POD would come up with a funnel stand to make it easier to fill the pods in one step without making a mess. Currently you have to fill the Seal Pod, tamp it, fill it some more and tamp it again.

For what it is, it is OK, but it is unneeded if you are buying the tillable capsules since they come with a tamper of sorts. Of course if you broke that, this could be handy. In any case, you have to be careful with this not to tamp too hard or you will pack the coffee more then should be.

I needed a small, slim tamper for the specific purpose of leveling ground coffee in a reusable pod. This works. No complaints.
