Yes it is LEAK proof as long as you completely snap down the 3 closers and close the steam vent! You can freeze in these products.

I believe it is a little over 30 ounces. I spray the inside with Pam so it doesn’t get stains on the inside. Please handle the vent and the latches carefully, so they don’t break. I love my container.

I don’t think you can choose the color because the color description of the item says “assorted”. I’m assuming the company will send you which ever color they have on stock at the time.
