The instrument provides direct measurement of routine absorbance and transmittance measurements. The 15nm bandwidth is used for quality control measurements when high resolution is not required. The tungsten-halogen lamp and single detector support measurements in the visible range. The instrument has a single-cuvette sample holder. The digital display indicates transmittance and absorbance measurements, and USB and RS-232 ports provide data output to a computer (sold separately).
