I love this product. I’ve been using it for the past 2 years. I’m 30 and my hair has thinned out a lot in the crown area to the point where ppl that are taller than me have commented on it and since I started using this product ppl now comment on how full my hair looks! I wash my hair every 3-4 days so a whole bottle lasts me about 6 months. I buy the duo pack every Black Friday season now. The main problem I have with this is day 1 of wear can have a lot of fall out and it’s a powder mixed with fibers so it can leave speckles on your face and when wiping them off it will smear black. Also over the summer when I’m hot and sweaty, the sweat from my head drips down my neck and there were a few times ppl have told me I have some black stuff on my neck which can be embarrassing. It wears well on day 2 but day 3 you can see it fading and that’s when I use the other boldify root touch up powder to touch up up the hair line area to

I purchased fibers before and the container lasted a long time because i don’t use often because I wear wigs and I use very little. I have been out for a while. I thought the fibers were stuck. After banging the container several times.. I realized it was empty. I don’t think the container was full!! Very disappointed. Correction I tried it several times again. This time as I continued to shake the container I could hear something. I finally got the top off and it had plenty. I cleaned the top then tried shaking it again. Nothing came out and I pulled the top off again. The fibers are not getting through the holes. They are getting stuck in the top. The actual product is great it’s the top to the container.

I've only ever used Toppik Hair Fibers before this, so I admittedly don't have a lot to compare it to. But compared to Toppik, I'm SHOCKED by how much more I like this product! Toppik isn't bad, mind you, this one, in my opinion, is just better. So the main issues I always had with Toppik was how messy it was to apply, and how it could end up making your hair look really powder-y, for lack of a better word. Also, if you didn't apply an appropriate amount of hairspray, every time you touched your hair or laid your head down on a pillow or armrest or something, it would leave behind powdery residue. So with Boldify, it didn't outright fix or eliminate those issues completely. But in my opinion, it is definitely better and a lot less of an issue! As far as making a mess during application, I'll be honest, that might just be because I've gotten so good at applying hair fibers from how long I've used Toppik now, that the reason it seems better may very well just be because my skull level is better and have absolutely nothing to do with the product. BUT, since it does seem to naturally stick to my hair better (even before I apply any hairspray), I'm inclined to believe that the lower amount of hair powder I find in my bathroom sink after applying this could also very well be because there's less just falling out as a style my hair. But as I said, I'm not 100% on that point TBH. What I am confident about is just how well this stays in my hair, even when I don't apply any hairspray! That's the part that shocked me the most. Now, there's definitely still some that'll come out and leave a mark on your fingers if you scratch your scalp, although not as much and I've yet to see any on my pillow case. Although to be fair, I haven't been using it as long or had as many chances yet to ensure I've isolated all other potential variables when it comes to this point. But with a hairspray in, I definitely feel more confident with this product than I did with Toppik as far as any falling out accidentally or in the rain or something. I mean, I wouldn't want my head to be soaked, but I do believe this could handle a little rain without getting completely gross looking! The best thing about this stuff is how much more natural I feel like my hair looks. It doesn't suck all the shine of my natural hair right out and make things look as powdery as Toppik did for me! Unfortunately, I did get a shade too light. I think my hair color is in-between dark brown and completely black. With Toppik, I felt like there darkest black ended up making my hair look artificially colored, so I always went a step down and it looked correct. With this brand, I don't think they have the perfect match for my hair color. That said, they do claim to replace it for you, and I'm tempted to try it just to see how the process is and whatnot for this review. But at the same time, I feel confident that the best thing I could do would actually probably be to just get another thing of black and mix the 2 together. So I'll probably just keep it for now. I haven't been using for too long now, only a little over a week. I'll update the review if anything changes, but for now, I feel confident recommending this brand!

Works great! I’ve been using Toppik the previous years but this product works just as good and less cost. I would recommend this product.

i have used this every day for the past six years. it’s kind of messy as in it gets on my counters and if i touch my hairline it will rub right off but for the past five years no issues stopping me from purchasing a ring bottle every month to help cover some thin parts around my hairline.

It doesn’t go on like the adds show. Anytime I touch my hair I get the it on my hands. It does cover the thin areas but I couldn’t apply it like the ads show. Also if you sweat or it gains to start raining it will clump.

I have trichotillomania, a disorder that causes me to compulsively pull out the hair on my head. Stress and anxiety make the pulling worse, so sometimes I have very thin areas or completely bald patches. I don't know how I would get by without this product, it's been a rough and stressful year! I have dark hair with light skin and this disguises any scalp showing through. Even my hairdresser was impressed when I recently saw her and had a bald spot the size of a golf ball on my crown. She didnt immediately notice the spot until I pointed it out. I spend a LOT of time worrying about my hair, but with Boldify I can go out without fear of people noticing or asking questions if my scalp is visible. I will say, this product can be messy. Like I said, I compulsively pull my hair, sometimes without realizing it, so I touch my hair often through the day. The fibers will come off on your hand if you touch them, but dust off easily. If, like me, you use this on the back side of your head, there can be some transfer onto fabrics like pillows or headrests, but I've not noticed a lot and it's pretty easy to clean. For me, the product wears off overnight, so I reapply each morning. This isn't ideal for close to your hairline or a very large area with very short surrounding hair. My hair is about chin length and heavily layered (because as my thin spots grow back, i end up with weird layers) I can put this on my crown and there's enough hair in the area that it isn't noticeable. It's really for disguising the scalp. I have thick hair, in the places I haven't pulled it out, so I can't speak to whether or not it can make thin hair look thicker. Bottom line, the pros *heavily* outweigh the cons and you should absolutely try this product. Because of the locations of my bald spots and the length of my hair, I can't pull my hair up to cover anything. If not for Boldify, I honestly don't know what I'd do. It's the only thing that let's me go through a normal day without just dying inside a little bit. Seriously, you need to try it. It's good and it helps. We are strong confident women! (and men) We won't let our stupid hair make us feel like crap!! ❤

This stuff is insane!! Never used anything like it before, as I was always put off by negative comments. How wrong was I!! Tapped a small amount onto my styled hair and it instantly made thin spots disappear! Even in direct sunlight my hair looks thick and full. Just Wow!
