The bags are suppose to be 24.9 CM or 9 inch as the description says but they are 12 CM / 4.5 inch.

Lesson to momma bear. The bag are the boom. I used tge bags to jump start my garden this year and I'm very happy. Thank heaven you get a out of bags. Each year I will be using them. Also the roots come threw the bags making for easy planting. It's popping like hot grease hehehe.

Just what I needed. Size was as described. They release unneeded water. They are sturdy. I scraped a few across concrete driveway and they held up. Much cheaper than peet pots. If I ever need anymore I will buy again

These bags are strong, durable, easy to work with and just the right size for larger transplants. They would be too large for tomato or cucumber seedlings but work great for watermelon or strawberry plants. I am impressed with the quality, they don't tear when wet and really hold their shape when handling. You can easily put the entire bag into the hole you dug in the garden. If you want your new plant to get a boost add some granular fertilizer into the hole, cover with a light dusting of dirt, cut small sections or slits from the bottom of the bag and then place the entire bag into the hole. The bag will not break apart. it is constructed to hold up but still disintegrates over time when covered with soil. These bags are wonderful
