Best shave cream ever. The sandalwood scent is awesome. Very creamy and lathers well.

Works great with my safety razor and smells good

I've been buying this product from various sellers for years now, as well as buying it from a physical store once or twice. While the product is great, it doesn't seem to ship well or store at warehouses well. The product is supposed to be a medium thickness cream with a medium to low scent of the standard sandalwood odor many products use. About 2/3 of the time when I order from Amazon though (doesn't matter which seller I use), it shows up with the cream being a solid cake instead. I've tried warming up the container, and it had no effect, the cream remains as a cake no matter what I do. This also occasionally affects the odor. Sometimes the scent it carries is just reduced a little, but other times it's completely gone. You can still use the caked form with a warm and damp brush and a shaving dish, but the lubrication qualities are hugely reduced versus when it's the cream it's supposed to be. Oddly, the tube variety of this product, which is slightly more expensive by volume and doesn't require a brush or dish for normal use, doesn't seem to have this same caking problem, but appears to be the identical cream. When this product is good, it's great, but given the very high rate of problems Amazon as a fulfillment center seems to have with shipping or storage of this dish version, I'd strongly recommend either buying this only in a store or buying the tube variety instead.

What a great shave this product delivers. I used to use a Crabtree and Evenlyn product but it's no longer sold so I went to this one. I like it even better! It's a soft cream that I apply with a brush and it lathers up nicely. It's slippery on your skin so it really does provide a smooth shave with no irritation. It smells nice and not overpowering.

Been using these for a couple years now. One bowl lasts a surprisingly long time and the scent is really pleasant. I also notice no irritation at all from the soap when shaving with it.

I have been using this sandelwood Taylor of Bond Street for many years, and I haven't found another shaving creme that has as creamy of a lather and great scent.

I love this shave cream. I've been using it for close to 10 years. It lasts long. I use a shave cream brush with it. Only problem with this 3 pack is that there always seems to be one of the three leaking.
