I looked at various water colour sketch books before I purchased this one. I wanted good quality paper, 140gsm and a sketch book that wasn’t too small. This one is absolutely perfect. It looks excellent quality (would make a lovely gift for any one who does water colour painting, a beginner or an experienced artist) and the paper is an absolute joy to paint on. I’m so glad I purchased it.

I love the quality of this sketchbook. The paper is lovely and thick and has a nice texture. The only downside is that although the dimensions given are correct (13 x 21cm) the description is given as a large landscape sketchbook but it’s actually not very ‘large’. Nevertheless I’ll forgive that because it’s so lovely 😊

This is the right paper for watercolours - I’m new to painting and have ordered several books that have warped - this one has gorgeous thick paper and makes you feel fancy using it!! Will buy more of these for sure. As an added plus, comes in a sealed box that would make a lovely gift as it makes it feel special and is beautifully presented. The cover itself is thick and sturdy so should last and last - also love the pocket at the back and ribbon to keep your place.

Really great paper. Able to water colour on both sides with ease and no worries. Unfortunately, the paper has a tendency to become unattached . However , I really love the book.

I agree with all the good reviews, this is a perfect sized, well absorbent, nice coloured (lightest beige) sketchbook. It's been perfect for watercolour, even for heavy watercolours, no pilling at all so far, enabled colour lifting and repeat layers all without issue. The little pocket in back cover has sort of material sides and fits my colour wheel in nicely, as , even tho the wheel is a bit wider than the pocket, because the pockets sides are soft materialism, it allows for extra give for any papers etc, so things slide in there nicely. All in all I'd definitely buy another one, in fact I'm going to. So highly recommended, as the rest of many of the reviews say, I'll agree and happily recommend it. Ps it's perfectly good for using both sides of the paper no matter what u use on it. I'm almost thru the whole book now and there has been no issues at all. Well chuffed!

So I've never used watercolour or gouache before but I love alcohol and acrylic markers, coloured pencil and digital art, so I thought I should try branching out! I loved the look of this book and loved the idea of ultra wide landscape spreads across pages so I settled on this one. I'm so glad I did! The paper is nice and thick, truly double sided and hardly warps even with beginner levels of over saturation! It has a handy little pocket at the back, has painted edges and a beautiful cover. It looks super sleek and professional and I truly love it!

Really lovely paper, excellent cover and good spine. Bendable but flat enough to paint on a level surface. Definitely worth the money.

I just love the cover and paper texture, the sketchbook quality is outstanding. I really feel that I need to do my best in it so as to do it justice.

Excellent carnet de croquis pour les techniques à l'eau (gouache, aquarelle, encre); le papier en 300g/m2 est bien épais avec un grain léger. L'esthétique est aussi très bonne: tranche colorée, couverture en faux cuir avec une impression tissée grise, très doux au toucher, un signet en ruban gris assorti, un élastique gris pour tenir le carnet fermé. Je suis vraiment conquise par ce produit de qualité et je commanderai à nouveau sans hésiter!

The name made me think this was a european brand - shame on me for not looking harder. That said, there is nothing in the description providing a placce of origin, I am going to assume that is on purpose. It looks and feels nice, once I put it next to some arches, I may come back. The pocket in the back is in the style of other notebooks like leuchtturm and moleskine - it is convenient. More pages that similar products. I am holding at 3 starts since the first thing I saw was made in china and I frankly expected France.
