Q: Does this need to be screwed down or does it have a sealer on it ?

To install we use a silicon cocking and metal roofing screws to seal the Dektite to the roof.

Q: Can anyone provide a link of the sort of screws we should use with this on metal roofs?

Q: Can this be used on a hot mop roof?

The short answer is no. The long answer is that this boot is for Metal roofing, and the EPDM rubber on this pipe boot would likely melt from the hot tar. Hope this helps.

Q: Do you to use caulk or a sealer with this item?

The manufacturer recommends using silicone caulking on the dektites, but we do have some contractors that do not, and have no leaks.
