Great watering cups. Don't listen to other reviews with improper installation!
These are not made to last forever like some seem to think, of course they'll start to leak, any plunger actuated device will with constant use. But these work amazing for at least a year with proper installation, they tend to bend towards the wire, this can be fixed with a penny or a washer during install. It's easy to assemble / attatch to your cages and the durability is great for how thin and light the plastic is! They look great, hardly any moving parts and is a great bang for your dollar. Come on less than a dollar a piece you can't beat that!

Quail cups
Works well for our quail. They can’t really get them too dirty. They fill easily. Easy to install.

Foolproof design - but ...
The waterer assembly is well made for its task - but - I just replaced all of them with another design The side edge of the moveable cup, closest to the 1/2" hardware cloth - kept touching the wire; even though the cup was empty, the cup did not move up to open the valve. Also, there is no easy way to clean the feed deposits from the bottom of the cup, my quail are poorly trained and definitely lacking in the social graces.

Chicken waters
I’m sorry I can’t recommend these. They are very hard to clean the chickens. Cannot seem to operate them properly. Had to purchase a different kind and have no problems with it.

Best Cup Available for Low Pressure Systems
This is the third waterer cup I was trying to get set up for my new quail cages. With the first I tried (the ones with the floater paddles), the water pressure wasn't enough to close the piston the paddles were attached to and it kept filling. With the second kind (the ones with the paddles they are supposed to peck to supply water) the water pressure wasn't enough for the water that came out with a peck to successfully train them. Since these close based on the amount of liquid in the cup itself, they work perfectly and have yet to overflow.

Cheap plastic
The first batch I got lasted about a year before they started leaking and looked exactly like the ones pictured. The most recent ones I bought about a month ago where a thinner plastic and half of them leaked as soon as they were hooked up. They also don't have the clips that help them hang on the wire, just 2 pegs. Picture is of more quality product (left) versus the cheap thing they are sending out now (right)
