Well made, sturdy, decrease time processing
Increases the ability to process apples from my trees quicker which makes life much easier during harvest season. I have a neighbor who also has one and uses it to make fries to freeze. It is simple to use and easy to clean (Be very careful when handling the cutting piece as it is very sharp. I use a bottle brush to get in the slots). Well made and sturdy. Note: Make sure to take a picture of it before you take it apart to clean it, so you can put it back together the right way ;o)

Great kitchen helper, if you have room.
Delivery was great ,product exactly as described , works great , does take up a little space. But if your preparing your own food ,eating healthy , it is a awesome time saver , and your cut produce is all the same size so it cooks uniformly.

Sturdy and works really well!
I know it's a little extreme for home use, but it's so great! This works really well for cutting anything. It comes with a variety of blades. My favorite is the apple cutter/corer! It slices through like butter and makes prepping apples for the week so much faster and easier. It's also much easier on my shoulders than the one I had before. I highly recommend this for anyone who preps a good amount of food, it's a game changer. This is very well built and sturdy. It even comes with a little stainless steel tray that fits perfectly underneath for collecting food.

Should work - takes time to switch blades
Overall, this is a very nice product. It is sturdy and appears to something which should last. The issue(?) is the amount of 'work' needed to change out the blades. Let's say you want to slice an apple but the last time you used this was to do french fries so you now need to change out the blade. It's not difficult but going through the process takes almost as much time as it would to just take out a knife and slice the apple. Now if you're doing multiple apples then yes, the time savings swings in your favor using the cutter. For fries, you'll most likely also save time due to using more than one potato to cut up. But again, you'll now need to change the blade from the apple cutter to the fries cutter. If you're ok w/ doing all that, this should serve you well.

Commercial grade but we use it in our home kitchen.
Bought this unit for my wife after she broke her third Vidalia Chop Wizard. When it arrived it was much bigger than I expected and it seemed intimidating compared to the item it replaced. I figured she would want me to return it, but she loves it. This is commercial grade which means it is very durable - a bit overkill for a home kitchen, but she uses it all the time, including the apple corer and apple slicer attachments that the Vidalia Chop Wizard does not have. The large handle provides much more leverage to slice carrots and potatoes easily. It disassembles easily for cleaning and changing blades.

Good Product
Works well. Takes a good amount of time to take a part and clean. I only use it when I have a lot of veggies that need to be cut. For a small amount of veggies the cleaning time is too much and I still do it by hand. It takes some getting use to in order to disasemble and put back together correctly. After you do it a few times you get use to it. The blades are very sharp so much so that if you touch the blade while cleaning you may not feel the cut but later you will and so you have to be very careful. The design works well.

works great & easy to clean
works great. We've used it for cutting yellow squash, zucchini using the French fry cutter & citrus using the wedge cutter.

Build yo arm strength
I received this item yesterday. I was SO excited when it arrived. This item is very sturdy. I make preserves so, I go through lots and lots of veggies, and fruit. Today I was cutting up 21 pounds of sweet potatoes. I figured Heey, great time to try the new chopper. Nah , nah it wasn’t a great time. This thing has no gripping feet, or anything. I fixed this by grabbing some gripping shelf liner, problem solved. In order to push the sweet potato through I had to put my entire weight( quite a bit of weight) behind it. I nearly knocked myself out when a sweet potato finally let loose and I whacked my head on the black knob on the top of the chopper. I figured out if instead of a flat end on the blades , I made it pointed , the sweet potatoes went straight through. I like that it’s easy to clean. The assembly instructions are junk( whomever translated the directions wants you to flush the entire thing before first use) . The handle is not well padded, I wrapped it in a pot holder . All in all this is an inexpensive, but sturdy chopper. It will get the job done, but it takes a bit of effort.

This is my fourth attempt over many years to find a decent french fry cutter. My search is over! The machine does the job easily and well. Better than more expensive previous units that I own. I was so frustrated with previous units that I resorted to cutting fries by hand. No more (unless I need skinny less than 1/4" fries). Highly recommend, and would buy again.
