Atomic Mass Games Star Wars - X-Wing 2nd Ed: Galactic Empire Maneuver Dial

Q: Does this work with 1st Edition rules, ships, cards and manouveur wheels or does it require the 2nd Ed. upgrades for all ships?

Aside from the miniatures, the two games are not really compatible: with the online aids it is likely that you could kludge together a 2ed. game using 1st ed components, but the intention is that owners of extensive 1st ed collections buy the conversion sets.
