These are awesome!! Easy to keep with you for that little bit of something when you need it. Have a very mild pleasant flavor, I got the vanilla malt. They melt away in your mouth slowly with no weird aftertaste. I will buy these again I’m looking forward to trying the chocolate version

Of course, I can't actually write a review based on taste here unless I opened my survival food before I actually needed it. But I can say it was super quick shipping, great price and value. Plus, the peace of mind with having the supply available was wonderful!

I didn't know what to expect, just got these as a snack for work or hiking, but I've been curious and tried them out. I got the vanilla bean one, and the best way I can describe it is a vanilla flavored Whopper candy. You know those little milk chocolate balls that everyone has 3 of and then they are good? Yeah those. It was both chalky and sticky but the flavor didn't linger too long. They do seem to have a mild-strong appetite suppressant like other people have said, I was relatively hungry (ready for lunch) when I ate one. I then got incredibly hungry (literally ready to go and hit every fast food place in 30 miles) for around 30 minutes. I'm talking stomach clenching, rumbling, eat a whole pizza hungry. I pushed through the hunger and after a half hour I wasn't hungry for the rest of the night. When dinner rolled around I ate a lot less than I normally do, but not out of not feeling well, I just didn't want to. I'd recommend these for outdoorsy people or emergency use, but try them before you rely on them

I bought a small bag to test the product and I am happy to report that they taste good and do what they are supposed to do. They don't generate thirst, which is important in a crisis. I ate nothing but the tablets one day and didn't have any problems. For bug out bags and emergency food storage, you definitely want these tablets. They are much easier to deal with than a big block of compressed "cookies" (aka 5 year bars). If you have a Foodsaver, you could buy the big container and then vacuum seal the tablets in single serve portions. That's what I'm going to do.

Small tabs and each one provides necessary nutrients. Great for emergencies, but not survival bottles.
