I use this product after blow drying, before flat ironing or curling for frizz control, heat protectant and styling creme. It delivers. Super easy to use, just a pump or two and you're set to go. The product is a little sticky so use less on fine hair. I guess it offers all day hold, if you need frizz held in place! The best part is it smells so good. I do not have curly hair so I cannot speak to how well this works, but in the spirit of thickening and growing out my own hair, this is a valuable part of my hair routine.

This is a GREAT product! My hair & moisture are mortal enemies! Living ANYWHERE that there is humidity, I'm screwed! I tried this for the first time a cpl of days ago. Put a little bit on my wet hair & just let it dry. It left it with a shiny "wet" look, yet it didn't make my hair feel "stiff", later that night, I brushed through my hair & it was soft, like I had no product on at all. I experimented with my flat iron & it left my hair straight, with ZERO frizz or stiffness! My hair is thin & baby fine, but this product gave it body & made it look thicker! I HIGHLY recommend this product. It protects from heat damage without leaving it feeling like you have "hair spray" or some other product in your hair. I like my hair to feel soft & natural to the touch. THIS gave me that & more! I was NOT compensated for my review, just honest truth!

I am a big fan of this Chi straight guard smoothing styling cream and have been using as a consistent part of my hair routine for the past few months. It’s made a significant positive difference in my hair with helping it appear healthier and a nice subtle shine without looking greasy. The product is like a lotion that you just need a quarter size dollop and rub through your hands and start from the bottom to apply through damp hair-it’s not sticky so it applies easily and even. My hair has really appreciated this product and if you can get it when it’s on a sale it’s really an incredible value for a high end product that works incredibly well. Highly recommend.

This product works well in my hair, keeps it nice and smooth combined with blowing it dry. Weighs my hair down without making it look greasy. Why does it smell like this though? Like an unholy combination of 80s hairspray and Axe body spray that I can't get out of my nose. Definitely not the right product if you prefer more subtle, natural, or sweeter scents.

I live in Georgia and humidity is brutal but this product is a game changer. It’s lightweight, non greasy, and lasts all day. I use a straightener every day and the heat protection is top notch! Pump bottle dispenser is so much easier to use than the usual squeeze tubes.

I love chi but this made my hair oily

This product is perfect for getting that sleek look that I love to my short bob. I have platinum hair do flyaways and waviness can be an issue. This stuff softens and conditions beautifully and I can use the highest heat with my straightener with excellent protection and no damage, dries fast, conditions nicely.

Does what it's suppose to. My hair is damaged from hair dye and this does make a big difference. I didn't realise this until I didn't use it, my hair feels so bad without it... It's superb when you blowdry your hair after applying as it lets my hair look naturally straight which means when I use the straightener its more effective, doesn't frizz, and most of all makes my hair look an inch longer! I will warn you though, as it says on the bottle it does the complete opposite if you let your hair dry naturally - I did this the first time I applied it and my hair was crazy curly and that certainly doesn't suit me. The product is better if you apply hair oil as well btw.
