As advertised- Amazing product!
I usually do not buy makeup online that needs to match my skin tone due to fear of it being “way off”. However, this product is amazing! Goes on light and color matched as advertised! I absolutely love it and so glad I bought it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Provides nice coverage
The best “fake” makeup I have used for my face. I call it fake because it is not a thick liquid just a thick-ish powder that gives nice coverage. It does not set up in my wrinkles and it lasts almost the whole day. Because it’s fake makeup it lasts for a party, a concert, a dinner, a night out with a friend.

This is the powder for me
I usually get Buff Beige in this pressed powder but they were out of stock. I have light skin so I decided to try out the Classic Ivory. I don't wear primer, foundation, concealer...any of that. My makeup ritual, when I wear any at all, consists of powder, mascara, chapstick and a tiny bit of eyeliner. Once in a while I will wear a small amount of eye shadow but it's usually a neutral color and something I don't do often. I want a powder I can wear alone. This has always worked well for me. Obviously this color is a bit lighter than what I usually get but it worked just as well. I don't have to use much and it makes my skin look softer and smoother while giving it a nice glow. It doesn't looked caked or unnatural and it really does help with fine line blurring. I never use the sponges that come with it, preferring a powder brush instead. I workout 5-6 days a week and usually do it right after work. I don't always wash my face first. This doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy or clogged afterwards. I don't carry my makeup (or lack thereof) around with me so I also want something that doesn't leave my face looking shiny and luckily I don't get that with this one. It arrived well packaged and there was no cracks or crumbling. Covergirl Simply Ageless has become *the* pressed powder for me and I love that I have two colors choices in case one is out. If you prefer something light that provides blurring and looks natural, this is it.

Didn't love it but also didn't dislike it.
Fine CoverGirl product. I've used this brand for about 35 years. However, it didn't seem to blur any wrinkles or lines. I looked like Ace Ventura when he dusted the bat cage for fingerprints. I had to take a brush and blend it super well. I compared it to the loose powder by CoverGirl and honestly,I prefer the loose powder over the age defy. This is not a terrible product just didn't seem to offer anything special. I wouldn't recommend it for its "blurring" or wrinkle hiding effect but as a good basic powder, yes it's just fine.

Fantastic powder for pale, dry, sensitive skin
As someone with dry, sensitive skin I need to use rich moisturizers which can leave my face a bit shiny. I like to tone down the shine with a bit of translucent powder but find nearly all of them to either dry out my skin, cause irritation, or be too dark in color (I am extremely pale). This Cover Girl powder in translucent is by far the best powder I have ever used. The white color doesn’t go on chalky and also doesn’t darken as the day goes on. I can’t speak to whether the white translucent shade would be an ideal choice for darker skin tones but as a pale person it is amazing. Applied with a fluffy brush, the powder dampens the shine down to a lovely glow with no tightness or itching (even after touch-ups). The compact stays closed in my purse and I carry a brush along for on-the-go touch-ups. If I have a complaint it is that the powder can get quite crumbly once you reach the pan (as do most pressed powders) but I still find I’m able to use up 95%+ of the product. I have gone through 6 or 7 of these over the last few years and have no interest in trying other powders which says a lot!

Something is wrong
Used this for years and have loved it. My favorite powder. I felt like it was like putting on a filter it was so good. Not sure if it is a change in formula or they are damaged by moisture, but the last two I ordered have been terrible. Patchy and going on uneven. It is like the powder got wet or damp. It also doesn't seem to be the right color either. Sent them both back. Very disappointing because it was my favorite. I am going to try to buy it in a store to see if it is any better.

Does not bunch up on your face.
This powder foundation works really good for me. I only use it as a light cover and it hides my worst brown spots.

Not consistent with what you purchase in store
As someone who has loved this formula and has bought it in stores for years... This is not the same. I also ordered a classic ivory because my buff beige was too dark for these northern winter months. The ivory I received is disappointingly darker than the buff beige, which I did not find to be true in previous purchases of classic ivory. I'm not sure if it was mislabed or what. I'm keeping it because it will work in the summer when I am fully tanned but I'm ticked that I found a powder that I love and it's no longer available in stores and now there is inconsistency with online ordering.
