I seldom write reviews but this deserves one. I have a new puppy in the house going through potty training. He is in the teething and destruction phase and one of the things he likes to rip up are the pee pads. The older dogs were not amused. Even inside a pee pad tray he would find a way to pick it out and run all over the house with a trail of paper behind him. This tray got rid of that problem. No more paper pads, no more chewing. For small dogs it is very large and easy for them to circle around on. The grass patch is good quality. Its soft and comfortable. At first I thought my dog was going to think I got him a new bed since he kept laying on it or rolling on his back on it. I thought perhaps I wasted my money on a glorified grass bed. He soon caught on it was meant for his pee and poo. The pee directly drains down into the tray and the poop is easy picked up. Even if it was runny poo the mat is easy to clean with a spray hose either directly on the tray or separately.

We ordered two different pet potties for two Pomeranian puppies. First, I will say that even these tiny dogs need as least the 30” runway. Dogs getting ready to number two need to turn and do their dance etc. If the potty is too small they just give up trying to balance on that tiny space. Secondly, This base rocks I absolutely love the drainage system. This is sturdier than other brands. The carpet pad was seamed and also sturdier than most. Already outlasted the other brand’s carpet. This was well thought out, the dogs have enough space to do their business, and it works exactly like it is supposed to! I wish they could get the cost down a bit…however…considering that it will provide my dogs and I peace of mind, well, that is priceless! I put the splash guard up and the dogs refused to go on the potty-it seemed to box them in and they didn’t like that feeling so we are using this without the guard and training is going extremely well.BTW, ALL dogs need potty training so if you think your dog should automatically go potty on a new object than perhaps the pet parent is the one who needs to be trained:0)

Very nice quality. It didn’t smell bad, super functional. And the design was nice. It would be very easy to use although the size of it was very small and my large dog could not use it due to the fact that it was way too small

I understand the concept behind this and while it’s a great idea, the material is cheap I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with a chewer my French bulldog loves to rip his pads so I thought I’d give it a shot. Not even a hour of having it the stitching was demolished he’s a puppy still but for them to say that it won’t tear from the seams is a joke. If I didn’t try to come up with some alternatives to keep it in place another issue, I would return the item unfortunately I drilled holes to hold it down and glue but either way it wasn’t helping since the seams were trashed . The pad doesn’t come with any sort of holding clips or mounts so it was a huge waste of $70 but if your dog doesn’t chew and will simply go and get off and won’t toss it or anything maybe I’d recommend

There is a gap between the pee baffle and the main unit. My dog somehow pees right on this gap so pee leaked to the other side.The mat feels like a grass carpet. It slips and slides on the base. The base is also too small, only good for dogs the size of a cat.For the tray you definitely crystal cat litter to soak up the pee or it’ll spill when you try to go empty it. It is so shallow.It’s a decent price but I would rather pay more for something that is easier to use.

My Mini dachshund loves these grass pads on the porch. They are replacements for two plastic trays. I have two sets. Easy to clean and store. What I love most about this product is the sewn edges. Highly recommended!

Love the way it looks but “Jaxy” is missing g his old one. He will adapt.

Our pup peed on it once, after we tried rinsing it started smelling and we can’t remove the stink. We ended up throwing it away. Waste of money.
