Mid 2012 11" Air with micro center Auria works
Just a quick message for those who care! I'm using this cable with a mid 2012 MacBook Air 11 inch and the micro center Auria 27 inch monitor and I could get full native 2550x1440 resolution with audio, while the laptop is in clamshell mode. At first I got the other cable like this one here on amazon for half the price and couldn't get it to work at the monitor's native resolution. It display some blue stripe vertically on the left side of the monitor. So I returned it back. A month later I decided to give it ago again by buying from this seller instead. The item is just like the picture but with better packaging for twice the price, but I feel it is just the same item since it look exactly like the last item I returned. To carry on, I did encounter with the blue stipe problem again!!! I continue to play around with the settings like enabling mirror mode and changing various resolution for a few minutes just like I did with the previous one. Yeah, it doesn't just work right away, and I was fully aware of that since the first one, but this one just sets itself up a bit faster. Perhaps it has something to do with the length, the last one was at least three meters, this one is just one meter. I think this one is the same one as I bought last time, just anothe cheap Chinese junk, so the quality could be a hit or miss, and I hit a good one this time. Though its cheap, but it works well and the picture is perfect, monitor wakes up from sleep just fine, no problem, the connector feels solid and it has a stress relieve collar where the wire exit the connector. The cable is not so soft if that matters to some of you. It was ship in a sealed bubble packaging, not a ziplock bag like the first one. In a sense, it was much better presented. You can call it "quality built" if you were to hold it in your hands, but Like I said, these are cheap stuff, they are hit and miss, but they get the job done if you get a working one. Buy this one or buy the lesser price one if you like since they are the same thing, but do yourself a favor and buy two or three just I case you end up with a few bad ones, then return them if you don't use them all or they're bad. I will edit this down the road if any problem arises.

Works perfectly, very high quality cable, pushing out tons of data through a MSI 980 Ti, stays in place, yet easy to remove!
Works perfect getting 190+ FPS playing Battlefield 4 64 player online, great for newer video cards like the 980 Ti with 3 Display Port outputs. (Using a BenQ 144 Hz 1080p 1ms monitor. (love it, buttery smooth) The clip release is great and the cables thickness is nice, it won't come loose like a HDMI and its far easier to remove than a DVI / DVI-D cable. Main thing I like about DP cables is you don't have to pay a premium price due to HDMI having an extra cost due to licencing. Plus IMO it's a better type of cable all around, for high-end gaming rigs with 144 Hz monitors. If you are expecting it to perform correctly be sure you are using a TV or monitor that truly supports HDMI 2.0. Also, just a tip for gamers, most TVs have a high latency. (22ms on good TVs and over 40 on most, that's a lot of built in lag) I highly recommend a good monitor vs using a TV, the pixel clarity, color quality, and latency is an unknown factor with a TV. (I've tried both and a gaming monitor is far superior) Also a lot of TVs will only run a 60 Hz even if they are stated to run at 120 Hz or more. (They just display the same frame twice) Granted if your just playing adventure games, a large TV can give you more immersion. But IMO, a smaller screen up close is far easier to see the overall scene. So, for FPS and RTS games, bigger isn't better, by no means.

This cable works as intended, when using DIsplay Port set to 1.1, NOT 1.2
Update: I've decided to keep this cable after all. I ordered a second cable and it arrived just today. I was surprised to see that the second cable exhibited the same flickering issue as the first. It was then that I suspected that it's an environmental issue. On my external monitor, there's a setting that allows me to change from Display port 1.1 -> 1.2. I had it on '1.2'. I switched it to '1.1' to see if that would clear up the flickering problem. It did! I switched back to using this Accell cable, since it looks to be of better build quality than the second one I ordered. Now that I can compare two dp cables, the connectors seem more sturdy on this cable. I hope they will hold up after some usage. ---------------------------------------------- I'm certain this cable will work for some. The build quality seems fine, with a sufficiently pliable jacket (I purchased the 6ft length). I tried to connect my laptop to a Samsung 1440p monitor (https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-WQHD-LED-Monitor-S32D850T/dp/B00L3KNOF4) at full 1440p resolution (2560x1440) and it failed. The screen on the external monitor started flickering and eventually turned off. I've read that others have had similar issues with dp cables- lots of mention of buying compliant and active 19 pin vesa compliant cables. Well, this one was one of those! It did not work for me. I plan to return this cable. By the way, the system drivers for my device are fully updated (just did it last week). It works fine with the heavy duty cable that came supplied when I purchased the external monitor, actually. That cable is so heavy duty that I wanted to get one that is more flexible since I'm using a laptop and felt it was cumbersome to use on my lap.

Looks like its not easy to find a good 3m DisplayPort cable, but this one works flawlessly. I previously bought a cable from a local retail store that was more expensive and was giving me random screen distortion and even image loss for 1 or 2 seconds from time to time. This one let me use my BenQ 2730Z at 1440P/144hz without any issues. The Description on Amazon is not very accurate, the full specs of this cable are: DisplayPort 1.2 compatible - supports version 1.1a; Computer resolutions up to 3840x2160 and 3D video; Supports all HDTV resolutions including 1080p and 4K; Latching connectors for a secure, reliable connection; Up to 5.4 Gbps per lane throughput - 21.6 Gbps total. (I'm also adding a picture of the label.) Excellent product with a lifetime replacement warranty!

Kabel bardzo dobrej jakości, a wtyczki mają zapadkową blokadę chroniącą kabel przed wypadnięciem. W moim komputerze działa idealnie z 144 HZ i 4 K z HDR.

Can easily tell that it is vesa certified high quality DP cable. It is thicker and more durable than the non vesa certified DP cable provided by my monitor. It has locking latches for a solid connection but much easier to remove by just pressing on the locking latches than the other non certified cable which can be a pain to unlock! Good value for money and one of the most affordable displayport compliant cable around!
