There are several zinc oxide creams at my local drugstore. Can you tell me why this is better?

This is the same barrier cream that our local hospital used . I wanted to use the same barrier cream as it worked wonders and so I purchased the same one here on Amazon at what I thought was a good price. I have never purchased a barrier cream at a drug store.

Is this product a pruple/blue vaseline type or is it white?

It is cream/white in color. I used this for my daddy for all the years I cared for him. I tried several products and this was by far my favorite.
