This is by far my favorite marinara sauce. Yes, it's a little pricey, but that's sorta to be expected with anything made with truffles. It's worth the price tag. Truffle can some times be overpowering, but this is not the case here. It's a delicious marinara with just the right amount of truffle flavor to make it feel like an elevated, luxurious dinning experience right at home. My husband loves it, the kids love it, I love it. Definitely recommend. It's the only marinara I keep buying over and over.

I have seen other reviews saying that this sauce has a really nice marinara flavor with truffle undertones. I think that is accurate, but I am not sure it is any better than the top sellers in this very competitive category. I may consider trying the arrabbiata sauce.

Not much else to say. I love it!

My wife and I tried the Black Truffle bundle, made up of two well-packed bottles of sauce -- one each of Pomodoro and Arrabbiata, and each was delicious! Totally scrumptious, authentic and just-right spicy when it should be, we would be very glad to use either or both of these sauces just about all the time, if we didn't think they were just a bit too expensive for everyday. The truffle flavor is there, if fairly low-key, but that's to be expected given the price (truffle oil is used instead of mushroom slices or bits, as we discovered after delivery when we examined the labels). Another factor in the expense was the bottle size, which was several ounces per bottle less than that found in most of the comparable, other better sauces available here. The difference is not enough to matter if dinner is supposed to take care of only two hungry big-eaters, but those missing ounces probably could make a difference if the dinner were meant to take care of 3 or 4 diners, particularly if the 4 were folks with hearty appetites or enjoyed lots of sauce. Still, each was VERY good, and it absolutely made our dinner for two (with leftovers) a more enjoyable and special occasion, so it was well worth it for us (as a test drive, if nothing else). Yep, they were right darned good! Of course, your mileage may vary, but what the heck, why not give 'em a try! :-)

What was once the best pasta sauce I ever had has become a very sad shell of its former self. It used to be a smooth and thick marinara sauce that stick to the pasta like glue is now a chunky, sorry excuse of a sauce that doesn’t even try to cling to the pasta or meatballs. What once filled the house with a delicious aroma as it cooked is now gone, the little spicy after taste is gone, the distinct, earthy taste is gone, the bold, in your face flavor of this sauce has become bland. I could have saved money by getting Ragu and poured truffle oil in it and gotten a better result. What happened to you Truff? You’re cutting back on quality and still charging a premium, I hope one day you go back to the old recipe, but until that happens, I will probably never buy this sauce again

From the moment I opened the bottle I could smell the truffle. And the truffle taste really came thru. Only con is that it is a bit expensive. Update: I bought another 2 sets to give to my sisters (10/2022). They love spicy food. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same. 1 of my sisters tried it first and found the sauce wasn't even spicy. I wrote to the company about it and they sent me a replacement for that (haven't opened yet). My other sister just opened hers and looks like it wasn't a fluke. I think a whole batch was either mistakenly labelled or they've changed the recipe (and not for the better).

Really love this product, best when used for similar pasta dishes (without too much protein or vegetables) to highlight this sauce’s delicious flavour.
