This stuff is legit
This wrap literally looks like paint when installed. Smooth as glass and very glossy. Ive used 3m scotchbrite 1080 in the past and this Vvivid blows the 3m out of the water. I wrapped my truck’s rear bumper gloss black and you wouldn’t know it wasn’t paint unless you get up real close to it. (Im a novice at vinyl wrapping). Also the clear protective film on the outside, simular to window tint, is a nice touch to prevent scratching while unrolling and cutting. I peeled it off before I applied the vinyl as it stretched better without it

Thick vinyl perfect for projects
I loved this vinyl! I used it to do a chrome delete on my trimmings of my car. It was so easy to cut, it was so easy to mold to the shape of the door. It’s stretchy and durable, I didn’t need any heat to get the air bubbles out. It’s well worth the $16 dollars! :). It looks sooo good on my car it’s a pretty glossy black, it’s so smooth. It was my first time doing any modifications myself and it was super easy to use.

Cuts easily, transfers well.
I've used VViViD products for a ton of car projects. Interior trim, exterior trim, custom decals, etc. This brand has a good stretch under heat, great adhesion, and the gloss is fantastic. I would recommend using an adhesion promoter for any trim with compound curves or tight corners for the best results. I was installing a new set of calipers on a project car and after refinishing them, I made custom decals on a cricut, laid them in place with transfer tape, and used 3 coats of 2K clear coat sealing them in place. While not installed on the car yet, they look great.

Wanted it to work but does have a sticking issue
I really wanted to love this product. So let me explain my project. I'm doing a chrome delete on my 2026 Nissan Armada & most of the areas are straight with just a little bit of cornering at the ends. I used 2" wide 3m tape on these areas but I found that when doing the cornering the 3m was a little tough to work with. So when it came to the trim around my back window as you can see in the pictures it's a big Z shape. So I needed a sheet of vinyl to cut a piece out slightly larger than the Z shape. I did my homework & read many reviews & it seemed like alot of people said the Vivid was very workable. There were a few people who mentioned that it wasn't sticking. So I figured I'd buy it and just take a little piece & see how it sticks. Of course that one little piece tucked and stuck perfectly. Anyway so I did all the work got my Z cut out faced it on & worked the rest. Everything was going amazing. This stuff is so easy to work with & yes the gloss black is a really good black. So after getting all my edges cut I proceeded to tuck & tuck & tuck oh yeah & I tucked again. Uggghhh I could rip my hair out 🤦♀️. Long story short many of the under edge pieces just kept popping out. I was so sad because everything went sooo well aside from that (very frustrating). So sadly I'm sending this back an I have already purchased the 3m sheets to do this section on each side. Moral of the story sadly is I can't recommend something that only half works. Oh and by the way yes I cleaned the area very well & I did also use a heat gun. Not my first rodeo

Robust but not an easy install.
First time vinyl wrapping anything. I was less than thrilled with the outcome, but I learned a lot. You must stretch the vinyl some amount or it will crease on concave/convex surfaces. That seems obvious now but it was not a when I started. When you heat this vinyl, it activates the glue. So the peel and stick is basically a non-starter if your surface is anything other than perfectly flat. Once heated, it’s stuck and pretty difficult to remove. I managed to remove almost all of my bubbles with a 22ga needle from Tractor Supply. Any creases can be worked out if you’re patient enough to heat the area around the crease and keep rubbing with a soft cloth. If you get a crease you’re better off just restarting. I did try scratching and the polishing some of the vinyl and it worked fairly well. My main use case is to prevent deep gouges in paint on a G wagon that I off-road. I don’t really care if it gets scratched but I wanted something to prevent a tree branch from taking a scratch down to bare metal. I think this vinyl will work great for that.

Tough to work with, but good quality.
I want to give lower stars, but this was my first go at vinyl wrapping. I figure the hood was prob the easiest to do, and that was all I needed, not the whole car. Its an old 2010 car so I dont mind imperfections. From watching YouTube videos, they make it look so easy. This product on Amazon appears to be thicker than the YouTube videos and more difficult to work with. Having said that, it does advertise as 'premium'. I guess thats what it means. It was hard to stretch, like I see on YouTube. It is pretty thick. I had difficulty at the front of the hood. I couldnt stretch it enough so that the film does not pinch. The middle and back looks good, but the front is all jacked up with the pinches. Its pretty dam noticable and ugly. I found a solution for that. I just bought a bug deflect to hid it. I had lots of air pockes. You just could not thumb it down. The air needs to go somewhere. I used a needle and gave it a small exit, then pressed down. Worked well. Its not like a new paint job, but It will do the trick for what I need. If you're a perfectionist, I would not do it. Find a thinner product. Order a small sample first. The good news is its an exact match of paint color to my car.

Mercedes C Class owners
All the Mercedes C Class owners need to do this when the part becomes old. The part between the pano roof and the windscreen. Quality and easy wrap. Best in the industry. Time will tell how long it lasts
