It can really help with chewing as well as preventing getting a sore mouth from the sharp edges of the broken tooth. Everyone should keep some on hand.

These worked really well at first, however, I must have used too much for a missing filling, and after about a week, the material, which turns into like a hard plastic, started turning outwards on the sides and digging into my gums and inner cheeks. It was extremely painful and very difficult to remove. I tried to just cut off the part that was hurting me but it was too hard, so I had to pull the whole temporary filling out, which wasn't easy at all. Ended up using pliars! If you use this stuff, be careful not to over do the amount and keep it away from your gums!
