Fits my 2025 Ford XLT perfectly. It's amazing the difference this makes, quick & easy installation. I was expecting this would be more expensive than it was for what it does, seems like good quality.

Effective and affordable for what it does, which is providing lift assist for the tailgate and a slow close so the tailgate does not slam down. Probably about 50% easier to lift the tailgate of my F-150 Lightning and you can let go of the tailgate and it will slowly lower. Took about 45 minutes to install. If you have the Pro Workspace on the tailgate with the dual bottle openers... on each side of the tailgate, you'll have to remove one to install this. If you don't remove one bottle opener, it'll hit the side of the lift and prevent the tailgate from closing.

Excellent product and less than 10 minutes to install. Works great on my F-150. Would definitely recommend and especially if you have smaller kids.

Just installed today so I don’t know about longevity but it works great and it took maybe 10 minutes to install.

I bought this because My wife was always complaining it was too loud when I opened the tailgate. She has been so happy with it and it was really easy to install. Good quality shock. It's just enough for a soft-open but does not take excessive force to close. Installation took 5 minutes.

Easy installation for F150 2015 & 2013

Very easy setup. I did this for my husband after the trunk door on F150 broke.. only issue is, it's very heavy to put up but the drop down is smooth.
