In a previous question someone asked what is the difference of 5-0 and 5-00 and someone answered that 5-00 is for gray. So is 5-00 better at coverage

I have used these Igora hair products for several years for covering gray.  I have found no difference in the 2 products (5-0 and 5-00).  They cover my gray hair better than any other product I have tried.  I must also admit that I leave the product on my hair long than indicated on the package (about 45 minutes) to improve the longevity of the color.  My hair is coarse and thick and all products seems to take longer to absorb. I also use the Igora Developer.  I hope this helps.

does this line run a level darker? for example is the dark blonde more like light brown?

Yes, it is more like lt brown. I'm very gray and I mix 6.0 with 6.5 to get a datker med brown just to cover everything
