I was a little worried that they would arrive damaged as some of the previous reviews stated and shown some pictures. Took about 5 seconds to assemble each one, if that. They are cute the; black and white stripes with the gold dots really help finish the look with my gold office accessories. I plan to order more for my children's homeschool books in the near future. I was hoping that they would fit a binder but the binder is just too long for it but other than that any standard size book fits perfectly. It does come with a white label so that you can label each book holder. It was seems that since these are cardboard that it would be smart not to have any liquids around them just in case it spills and the liquid stays and then it makes the cardboard soft, thus ineffective for it's purpose.

I really wanted cream/gold magazine holders and these were by far the most stylish I could find. Expensive but you can see the quality.

When I looked at a collection of magazines going back to 2000, I knew the time had come to store them neatly and nicely. They look great on a shelf in my living room, and the pattern of flowers takes away even the slightest hint of office or industrial use. There are spaces for labels, but they are discreet; I don't even use them. Recently, I needed to pack up that room, and found that the magazine holders unfolded without a problem, reassembled in a twinkling, and stored flat without losing their strength. Any time I need more, I will definitely look for Blu Monaco!
