The medium size fit fine even though Amazon recommended the large size. it was nice to not have to go to my Taylor to have my sleeves shortened. Good sun protection and zippered pockets protect one’s iPhone. I bought it for running and hiking in the sun. I have not tried that yet. However I expected that will go well.

I have fallen in love with these shirts. They are almost exactly what I was looking for. They are light weight and well made. I have been wearing Columbia and Bass Pro fishing shirts. I didn't think that I would like the zipper pockets but I was really wrong - I love them. They allow me to access the hidden pockets more quickly and quietly than the velcro closures on the other shirts. Although, I do wish these shirts had velcro on the outer breast pockets than the buttons. The size (large) fits me well and the sleeve length is perfect for me. The button holes are snug but not overly tight. I have ordered more in different colors.

Overall, I really like the design of this shirt and the material. It's light weight but the material feels substantial. The vented back is nicely done. I have similar 'fishing shirts' that the material feels very light and almost flimsy and the venting is overly large. The pockets are solid and the zippers seem to work well. Time will tell how well it holds up. The fit is good other than, as others have mentioned, the sleeves are too short.. like by about 1-2". I generally roll my sleeves up, and this has the buttons on the sleeve to hold the rolls in place. But for anyone looking for full protection from the sun and wants the sleeves down, you might gain some length by going up a size.

Fit is good, like the pockets. Ordered one earlier that was too small, my mistake, and returning it was painless. I be buying more.

Decent shirt, well made, sleeves too short. I wear a large and have never had a shirt with sleeves this short.

They have made several changes to the design — the collar is now simpler and (IMO) better looking, and the material is slightly lighter and thus softer/cooler/cheaper. But they have carefully retained the essential pocket-intensive features. Latest samples seem to have smoother zipper action.These are my every-day wear, 365. Warm in the winter (over a base layer) and cool in the summer. Daily splatters just wipe off. With appropriate care, color lasts and lasts.Buy this shirt, so they keep making them!
