Cooling Pad for Bed - Pressure Activated Gel Provides Instant Relief - Ideal for Fevers, Hot Flashes, Night Sweats

I've purchased a lot of cooling items and this pad has been the best of the them all - blanket, eye covers , you name it. As I am a tummy sleeper, I need more cooling there than on my back, which a cool blanket covers and almost makes me too chilly. With the PAD, I stayed cool for the majority of the night; when it warmed up, I just threw off the blanket and it cooled down in no time. I'd call it a MAT more than a pad because of its firmness. I also kept my folded in half lengthwise so as not to take over more than my side of the bed... Anyhoo, this feels like the answer to my restless, overheated nights. Consider it if this is your story too.

First thing you should know is this sucker is HEAVY! It's heavier and floppier than a weighted blanket. It's like moving a dead body in the middle of the night kinda heavy (Eh....ok...I'm guessing here, really, I have zero actual experience moving corpses nor do I have any plans to. Ew. I promise, this is just a guess, but it is super heavy and impossible to move half awake! Like trying to move your kid after they fall asleep in the car kinda heavy). So do not plan (like I dumbly did) to move it around when you need it. I already had the "pillow" so I thought I could move this. NO way irl.Next thing is it does get hot after a while because it sucks the heat out of you. So if you heat up it's better to have room so YOU can move since this is a heavy slab of flappy corpse (again, guessing, but you get the idea). But suck the heat out of you? Yes indeed. And it's gloriously cold.The other thing is I would not leave it in the bed in the morning. It feels almost damp and I would worry about mold even with my tempurpedic mattress. SO air it all out, but that said it is 100% worth it if you have night sweats or sudden bursts of heat from medicine, medical stuff, or menopause, or are blessed like me and have all the above. So no one else has to suffer with my turning the air to arctic because I suddenly turn into lava or a furnace-like a pizza oven in Florida in August.I slept so well with this! And the heat build up for my aches and stuff is not a bother. It actually felt nice because I go from super hot to freezing.I hope it lasts and will update after a time. Hope that helps!

Here's an honest review. Does it STAY cool? No. It ladt about 5- 10 minutes. I move my head to one side and when it's not cool anymore slide to other end. Once it's hot from your body heat I put it aside and in 10 mi uses or so it's cool again. I also bought the full body one. Best described as cool sheets you move to a cool spot,,when it's not cool, move. They are both GREAT PRODUCTS IF YOURE REASONABLE IN KNOWING WHAT IT DOES. YES, it's cold or " cool" - I can actually sleep through horrible hot flashes I get from my cancer medications. Don't listen to bad reviews, nothing is going to STAY COLD forever. This is great, buy 2, have cold sleep all the time. Alternate them! GREAT PRODUCT

I was at a crossroad not knowing what else I could possibly do to help make my comfort better in daily temps of 105+ I tried wet cold towels from the refrigerator; these would only get warm from my body heat. I "googled" Amazon for for ideas. And, there it was...just what I was looking for! This product was large enough to put on my lazy boy, have me not only sit on once part, but have the cold product all the way up from my back to cool myself. The coolness was a immediate and lasted for such a long time. I could get up, walk to where I needed, come back to my chair and be cooled again! I then wondered what it would be like to put it on my bed and lay on it to sleep. Pure heaven! The cooling product helped me get through long hot days and nights!

I was a little disconcerted when I opened the package, and there was a letter inside hoping my pet will be satisfied with this mat. I bought this for me, not a pet. I have been using a cooling mat in my pillowcase for many years. I recently brought my pillow with the cooling mat on a trip and accidentally left them behind. I bought the old one in 2017, and the manufacturer no longer exists. I went searching for a new cooling mat, and based on the picture, this one looked comparable. I did not look at the measurement, and when I received it, I saw that it was 2/3 the size of my pillow. I looked at the dimensions of the old mat which was 22” long, and this one is only 15” inches long. I toss and turn when sleeping, and this was too small to fit across the pillow. I went ahead and returned it. Sorry for the low review because I did not fully read the description.

At first this pad didn’t seem to keep cool very long but I realized it works enough for me. This pad is thin but a really large size, and surprisingly heavy (so it doesn’t move around I am guessing). It goes from my shoulders to my knees and is extremely chilly when I first lay on it. I have had this pad for 5 months now and keep it on top of my fitted sheet, laying right on it. I sleep very hot and when I first lay on it, it’s chilly but soon warms. My body must chill some too as I fall asleep without the tossing and turning to get off the hot spots. I have bought different mattresses but same problem. So I am relieved to finally get some full nights sleep! Some nights I still toss and this pad does get warm but at least I don’t have to put it in the freezer. It will just recharge and I just bring an ice pack, large soft one, in bed too for backup. I hope this helps someone else having a hard time sleeping hot!
