2021 Winter Nestle Japan Kitkat Matcha Tiramisu flavor 12 mini bars Japanese chocolate Made in Japan

Matcha tiramisu is a great idea, and one I can get behind- after all, I like matcha, and I like tiramisu. The green tea flavor comes through clearly enough (though not quite as clearly as it did in some of Nestle's previous green-tea themed KitKats), but the second flavor present is... not tiramisu. It's like a heavy, creamy flavor, but strangely does not taste remotely like the actual cream used in tiramisu. It's not nearly as good, for starters. There's something reminiscent of cheap white chocolate about it. And as anyone who's had decent tiramisu knows, an important part of tiramisu is/are the coffee-soaked ladyfingers. There is no detectable trace of coffee in this flavor whatsoever. Maybe that's for the best; I wasn't sure how well green tea and coffee would go together, anyway. But if you were hoping for coffee notes, this is not the cookie for you.Overall, the flavor is okay, but just okay.The packaging is cute as always, and these treats aren't bad. I'm glad I tried them, and I enjoy eating them. But I don't enjoy them enough to buy them again, especially at $14 a bag. Nestle would do better to go back to their original green tea recipes for KitKats.

If you like matcha and tiramisu, don't question...just buy. It's a bit pricey for the volume, but as a special treat, you can't go wrong.

Not sure why this product isn't sold in the USA, but it's worth the payment amount. Package arrived well protected, shipped on time. I rate the product 5 stars, but wished the price was more reasonable, although I'm sure its difficult to bring in overseas.

Delicious but mine arrived as tira miso, so I’d wait until the winter months to order this.

The original matcha flavor of Kit Kats and especially the deep matcha/dark matcha flavors are my favorite Japanese Kit kta varieties, so I was looking forward to trying this new matcha tiramisu flavor. They are very good, although they are much sweeter than the other matcha flavors (a little too sweet for my preference, but still good). The matcha taste is not very noticeable, unfortunately, but I really like how they taste like sweet cream cheese or cheese cake. They would be perfect if the matcha flavor was stronger. If you like matcha and dessert flavors, I think you will really like these.

I really like the regular green tea and/or matcha kit kats, so I was excited to give this one a go. Woof - whatever the tiramisu component of this is makes it kind of go south. They smell TERRIBLE. Like a slightly spoilt dairy (I'm guessing it's whatever is trying to mimic the heavy cream/mascarpone in a tiramisu). They tasted better than they smell if you can get past it, hence the 3 stars.
