Are the brown and dark brown pictures swapped?

Yes the picture is definitely swapped or the lighting is very bad. I ordered the brown and they came in a bit small so went to reorder and based on the pictures I ordered the dark brown as it looks like the brown I had in hand. When they arrived they looked darker like the ones pictured as brown in this listing.

Are these boots waterproof?

No, from experience, these aren't the docs from the U.K. One puddle I had them soaked 😣
