With Vista 20p you can use Zone one for any wired component, door contact, motion sensor etc.. but no wired sensor.

Q: what do you need to add to this package to use wireless components ?

Nothing. I installed two wireless honeywell window sensors with this six months ago and they are still on their original battery. Initial pairing is simple and they work fine on a different floor than the keypad.

Q: Is this system capatable with Amazon echo dot.

Yes if your system is monitored and you have the Honeywell total connect app. Then Alexa can arm the system. She cannot disarm it.

I’m not sure the difference in Versions is usually very small and pertains to communions or equipment Additions the Operation-of that panel hasn’t changed in more then en years. I am retired of 50 years and have seen very little change over time .
