Sure makes carving easier than just a large kitchen knife. Was nice nice and sharp. Chose this brand as I know it, had some growing up and had a large bread knife for several years that has been great.

Great knife. Size of a machete. Super sharp. I doubt you can find a better knife at this price. Another Victorinox winning design. Use it for everything: roast beef, turkey, anytime you need a precise cut. Huge blade is very easy to use and does not bend more than necessary.

This knife was recommended by America Test Kitchen .It is excellent as advertised .A very good addition to our knife selection .It cut thru a boneless lamb roast on the weekend .Perfect slices .Like cutting thru butter.
