Excellent sidekick when you have pets! For details as to how this item received the given rating, see below: This is such a must have vacuum! We own multiple pets and this little guy will pick everything up. We also own a rabbit, this actually does a great job in getting those small hard to get hay pieces. It has powerful suction and a decent battery life for all the quick pickups. Really easy to maintain. If it gets clogged, take the top piece off and clear the clog. If dirty, wash it out and let it dry. These are so handy, we have purchased 4 of them for around the house (one in each room). If you are a pet owner, I highly recommend this. From the regular debris a household produces, to the hairs and mess you get from pets, this thing gets it all. The only downside to this is that there is no way to know if it is charged or how long is left on the battery. The previous model (and others) have some indicator light, this one does not. Aside from the unit being all plastic (which is just about everything now a days), there was some plastic wrapping for the contents. Pros: • Strong suction. • Easy to clean. • Decent battery life. • Easy to disassemble. • Bag less. • Translucent casing. • Lightweight. Cons: • Unlike it's predecessor or other models, there is no charge indicating light. *Note, there are two ratings applied to the reviewed item. "Product rating" and "Packaging rating". The actual product will not be impacted by the packaging as these are two separate ratings. In regards to packaging, the following are contributing factors against the "Packaging rating": • In an effort to globally reduce and promote less usage of plastic, any usage of plastic or non-environmentally safe packaging/products/material will be marked negatively. • Single use items that do not biodegrade or cannot be easily recycled (see point above on plastics). • The packaging rating is being introduced to help drive a shift to more sustainable and environmentally friendly resources.

A terrific and efficient hand sweeper. I use it often and will never be without one. It does a great job. I have used Black & Decker handheld vacuums for years. Makes clean-up a breeze!

I purchased this to replace our old Shark wireless hand vac, which was universally hated by my family. It was bigger, louder, much heavier, suction was about the same (fine) but the Shark used horrible old NiCad battery technology which I though was extinct by the time I purchased it. Yuck. Recently it died completely, so I was happy to order a replacement. I opted for this model for its low cost and overall really better reviews that a couple of more expensive B&D models. For this purchase, I was reluctant to try any of the numerous Chinese mystery brands available here on Amazon. I did look into other brands and models from other sources as well. I didn't need anything too powerful or fancy with a good Dyson standup vacuum & 2 sizes of shop vacs already on hand. On to this model. After reading reviews it looked like there was about a 20% chance of having battery life issues, with reports of 2-minute runtimes. So I figured I should give this unit a test ASAP do I could return it via Amazon's wonderful customer service instead of Black & Decker's, which seems to be almost universally disliked in reviews here. Luckily, early signs are that we dodged the battery life issue. After charging the new unit for 24 hours (16hrs minimum suggested) I ran the unit all around the house, garage and my car interior until the battery expired and the unit shut off. I ran my iPhone timer and it went about 13 minutes before it started to sound like it was slowing down, and right at 14 minutes it turned itself off. I am happy with a 13-minute runtime per charge as we mostly use it for spot cleaning for short durations. I'm very pleased about the shape of this thing as it can reach into nearly every nook and cranny I tried, far more than my old Shark ever could! The power is entirely adequate for light cleaning and did a fine job on things like the dusty cloth surface of my TV sound bar, window tracks, my garage workbench, car seats and the narrow space where my car dash meets the windshield, etc. So I'm almost totally satisfied with this vac, especially for the $32 price I paid. I am subtracting a star for two design choices related to charging though. First, there's no charging LED which I think is ridiculous to omit. You have no idea if this thing is really charging or not. I can only hope after draining it full for the first time that it actually is recharging right! Second, the AC adapter uses some weird propriety plastic tip I've never seen before, which is a concern if it ever breaks. Lastly, it looks like this thing takes forever to recharge. Mostly that won't be an issue here, but it's clearly a negative. Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase.

I have a large shop vac I use to vacuum my car out. But sometimes I want to do a quick job to get crumbs of the seat or console and dirt off the floor mats. That is why I got this. I wanted this specific one because I saw it rated well by Consumer Reports. A lot of times small vacs like this don't have much suction. This one did not let me down. It has great suction for the job I got it. (Of course not as much as a plug-in shop vac) I recommend it.

I was very skeptical of this little vacuum, but decided to buy it when the price was reduced a bit. I charged it overnight and went to work on my "grandma mobile" the following day. I feel really foolish now that I have this and wonder why I was so cheap and didn't buy it before. It has great suction, reaches all the crevices of the booster seat and along the sides of the doors where my vacuum couldn't reach. I highly recommend this for making the cleaning of your car a breeze.

This is the best hand vac that I have ever used in my 70+ years! Its lightweight and so easy to use. It has wonderful suction, and it's a breeze to empty. It comes with a wall mount charging station, and the battery lasts quite a long time between charging. I am impressed and very happy with this vac.

Had one that looked just like this one that was super powerful it also had a light that lit up when changing. This one lacks the powerful suction and does not have a light letting you know that it is indeed changing

Excellent product, good speed, picks up dust easily, light weight and a very reliable product

I was a bit sceptical at first. The hand vac did not look powerful enough. Then I charged it and gave it a try. Well I was and am surprised at the suction this has. I had to flip down the brush so it would not suck up the cloth on my computer repair desk. Also left the brush down for cleaning the fans and outside of vents it dug out the hair and heavens knows what else was coming out the holes. I used the canned of compressed air inside the computer and held the hand vac over the flying debris. It just worked like a charm The wife is using it for tracked in dust she sweeps in a pile on the floor and it cleans up with out leaving a line at the dust pan or having to bring out the vacuum hose which is 35 feet of built in vacuum hose wrestling this snake is the thing of the past for quick pickups. The small rug at the front door usually has grass or something in it and she uses the brush to get most of the stuff until it is time for the carpet brush. clean up is easy we rotate the body to unclick it for removal and dump the dirt compartment. It unclicks easier and so she decided to do the floor trim using the brush and rotated, just great and quick and is not scratching the walls like the big vacuum dragging it along. She found out the unit's snout extends. Well it is being used every day. I got it for her as a thanks wife gift as I am not into flowers. Now I think I will have to get one for ,my self I need it to do another computer clean and it is outside cleaning up the van. This unit is more handy then a pocket in your shirt.

Only wish they had given the power supply in 220v. Works nice. Good design

Its very powerful and easy to use item. Good quality and easy to clean. The only problem i had is the charger which was not compatible with the power at home.

Funciona excelente, y es muy potente para su tamaño. Es mucho menos ruidosa que una aspiradora normal y la pila mas o menos dura unos 15-20 mins, lo cual para el uso que le doy me queda perfecto. Es facil de limpiar solo que en casa con gatos pues en cada uso tengo que hacerlo porque se llena el filtro de pelos. El unico ‘pero’ que le pondria es que tarda mucho en cargarse, he hecho varias pruebas, porque la uso cada 2 dias mas o menos y para que cargue al 100% desde 0 deben ser unas 7-8 hrs
