StridexXL Face Body Pads, 90 Count

I bought these to help with my recent breakouts around my chin area. I read reviews before buying and I do agree that you should be careful with the abrasive side. It does feel quite rough but if you do not apply a lot of pressure it works really good! I break out around my chin area and I use the rough side first. It feels better already after 1 use. The smell isn't bad either. I read a lot of reviews about it smelling good like grapefruit which it does but it does have a medicated smell to it as well. It does not bother me though. I'm hoping to see a difference in my skin after a few weeks of using this product. I do like the larger pads.Also, my face gets pretty oily and this got rid of that after using the pad. I recommend a good moisturizer after about 15 minutes or so otherwise your face might dry out. I will update as I use more. As for now, this is something I will definitely purchase again. Thank you!

I'm a big fan of Stridex and of the active ingredient, salicylic acid, which is a beta-hydroxy acid. It's at 2%, which is the maximum OTC percentage. I'm able to use salicylic acid daily, without notable irritation, but I don't have sensitive skin and I make sure to follow with a gentle moisturizer after application, once my face is dry.I've used them on both body and face but I mostly use them on body now. Love the "scratchy" side on my legs and upper arms especially, it feels so refreshing. If you are sensitive at all, don't use the rough side of the pad. The other side is smooth.I admit it smells good, but if I could change one thing about this product, I'd say to change the scent, as many people have sensitivities to citrus, grapefruit in particular. I think the lighter scent of the other Stridex pads, like the ones in the red box, would be less troublesome for more people.Very convenient and easy to use. I hope they never stop making these pads in this larger size. 💙

I tell everyone with acne about these pads they are INCREDIBLE. I keep one in my car, bathroom, bedroom, gym bag. I have 4 on hand at all times so I don't run out. There is no product like it. One side is Very scratchy and Textured and perfect for back and body, even after shower the textured side comes back dingy. The pds are large enough to do back and chest with one pad. Other salicylic pads don't care you would need to use 4 pads. It really helps subdue acne with consistent use. PLEASE never stop making these! The only thing that could be better is if they offered a fragrance free option.

I find that when I use them, I have to be limited. Once I scrape and clean all the oil off my face, if I keep going, I will get some kind of deposit from what is on the pads themselves, and then that is too much because it builds up. But that’s just me over using it. If you use it like a normal person, it actually does remove the grease and oil off of your face pretty well, better than most things. And fully adequately for the price. .

Wow what a surprise. I used Stridex as a teen and after decades, I tried it for the first time last night. The textured side feels like sharp gritty sand rubbed on your face. It hurts. But wow it left my face so clean and smooth, it has been years since it felt like that. It was totally worth it. I even used the left over liquid in the same face pad and did the bottoms of my feet and inbetween my toes. In the morning, my face still feels so soft and smooth. And the bottoms of my feet are so soft where even the callouses feet better.I tried to figure out what felt so sharp when using the pad. It looked like it was the way they punched the pads with protruding holes. I think the actual gritty stuff that wiped off my skin was exfoliated skin! I cant say I would use the exfoliating side very often, but I really liked the first results.

The size of this Stridex Face & Body Pad is great! There is enough for my son to cleanse his face, neck, top of shoulders, back & chest if needed - with just ONE!! The exfoliation side is great but be careful on the delicate areas around the eye & around the lip as it can be a little to rough. The scent is citrusy but not overwhelming to my son. My son uses these for a quick out the door clean or before bed when sleep is the priority & not a full skin care routine. Removes oil & dirt really well with a clean that lasts several hours, seeing less breakouts in those T-zone areas too!

I love these Stridex wipes for a few reasons.1. The wipes have a textured side that exfoliates. Everyone needs to exfoliate and these wipes are a quick method to do just that!!2. Turn the wipe over and use the non textured side to cleanse your face and sweep away dead skin cells.3. These Stridex wipes are much larger than their competitors and one wipe does my entire face. With other brands I have to use 2 or 3 daily, so I’m saving money too!!4. The ingredients open clogged pores, they leave my skin looking fresh.5. These wipes help to prevent breakouts. The salicylic acid has an exfoliating like action and is my preferred method for fighting acne. I use these everyday and I haven’t had a break out in months.6. The price is amazing. When you consider these wipes act as both a cleanser and exfoliate you are getting two products in one.7. They are quick and easy to use. I’ll admit that sometimes I don’t have time to wash my face and layer on products. When I’m in a hurry I use these to clean my face before putting on moisturizer.As always, with any salicylic acid product, do not let the liquid drip onto clothing or towels as it can leave a bleached spot on fabrics. Try them, they will change your skincare routine for the better!!!
