Vehicle was a 2009 Infiniti QX56 My original compressor went out and I needed to get it fixed. I live in Arzona where it’s always feeling like 90 degrees. I almost made the mistake of buying a Refurbished one but I’m so glad I didn’t. It’s well worth the money and the value you get with a “new” compressor AND 1year warranty is the best bang for your buck- did I mention you don’t have to get charged for a core? Yea you don’t-

Install was smooth, be prepared to buy o-rings as these do not come with em like other brands out there.. compressor comes prefilled with oil but, it is recommended to drain and refill with new.. no issues so far

So far so good. Got the job done for under $250 compared to $1000 a shop quotes. Only issue is the instructions are lacking. Not for getting the job done can watch that on youtube, but says it is preloaded with compressor oil but doesn't say the amount anywhere. Oil amount varies for differently models so had to pour out as much as I could in a measuring cup and add a couple ounces. I think there was just over 4oz preloaded. I needed about 9. Also most compressors come with o-rings to replace on the refrigerant lines - this didn't. Lastly part of the instructions says to spin the pully wheel at least 10 times to get oil through the system. Did that and the caps on the refrigerant line holes exploded off and lost a small amount of oil onto my garage ceiling. Guess I should've known but being my first time doing the job and didn't say to remove them. Like I said, got the job done for a good price but instructions for basic stuff is lacking.
