I want to hang a shoe bag over the door and avoid drilling holes in the hollow core door..will this work?

if you want to hang the shoe bag from one of the hooks, it should work great. no drilling necessary, the hook hanger slides over the top of door

How much weight does it hold?

I don't know exactly but I have a heavy robe, lightweight robe and a bunch of other clothing hanging on it and it holds up great!

I want to use this on a glass shower door which has a 1" metal casing at the top. Any issues with that?
