Great Overview
This book touches on a broad range of sensual deviations known as synesthesia. I had searched for 50 years for answers and found them here!In my case, I have Spacial Sequence Synesthesia. It can be found mentioned in this text. Knowing about what's been going on in my head has been validating! The 3 dimensional view of numbers, days of the week, months, decades and centuries, as well as, time, has puzzled me for years. My spacial synesthesia seems the least exciting, though. More of the book examines the other phenomena of colors and tastes. All are a result of overlapping senses. You'll come away with the sense that less is actually known than suspected but it DOES exist. At approximately 100 pages, the book is a one sitting wonder. It has inspired me to find others who "think" the same way. I had always felt alone.

Horrible
This is a pamphlet, not a book. It's someone school project that was bound up as a pamphlet and put up for sale. Any price you pay is overpaying. Don't waste your time on this 'book.'

Plain and simple answers to a complex subject.
Great information written in easy to understand format.

In a pinch
This is a great little summary of other published synesthesia research. It's good... but if you want something a bit more descriptive go with "Wednesday is indigo blue" which she pretty much just summarises.

Not that interesting....

Interesting read
My brother has synesthesia. After reading this book, I understand the way he looks at things a lot better. I am now well informed about it.

Excellent read with interesting information.
I have always been interested in synaesthesia as my friend suffers from it. I found this a very interesting read, well explained and well structured.

I finally know what I have had for 70 years!
A very good summation of the condition of synesthesia of which I am endowed with. I have had this condition for 70 years and did not know why I could see things in a different way as other people. I want to thank the science group for pursuing this study. I found out from others papers that a group did 10 years of studies and an MRI test triggered two lopes in the brain when people would see colors of energy around another person's head. A review by Ray Herbey.
