Started bleach blonde
This is really pretty. I bleached my hair almost up to platinum blonde before applying the Sakura pink (which is more purple actually). My natural hair is a dark brown. I left the hair dye on for about 50 mins instead of the recommended 20-30 because in my experience my hair is pretty resistant to change and usually takes longer. I did a test strand and if you leave it on for less time the purple color will be lighter and if you leave it on longer it gets darker. So keep that in mind when you apply it to help you get the color you want

Great Pale Pink/Orchid color
I have been using Got2b Metallics Permanent Hair Color, M84 Sakura Pink for a few years for a Pale pink/pale orchid streak in my hair. Color is great. It lasts, too. Doesn't really fade much either. It does fade from the chemicals in a swimming pool, but just looks more faded and less pink...but it doesn't change colors. It's not harsh and leaves a great shine. (That's true for a lot of Schwarzkopf dyes.)

Looks great over natural brown hair
I used this to die my medium brown hair without bleaching. It came out to be a beautiful arbun color. I will order this again.

Great grey coverage without ruining your pillowcases
I’ve been using direct dyes in various shades of purple for about a decade over my naturally white hair, but I get tired of how short lived it is and how it transfers on my clothes and bedding. This product has great grey coverage and solves the transfer staining problem. It didn’t even stain my tub. This is the Sakura Pink, which as others have noted is really more of a lavender- although it probably looks even more purple on me because my ends were very violet. It evened out the tone between my dark purple tips and white roots more than I hoped for. This is after finding that Overtone “smoky magenta” didn’t stick to my grey AT ALL. I’ve used Got2B in the past and it does start to dry me out after a while, I already have very coarse dry hair though. I’ll follow the “root application” instructions after this and hopefully it won’t fry my ends too bad. Overall it’s a much easier application than the direct dye (Punky, Manic Panic etc), although it definitely stinks like a chemical factory- I wish it smelled like Punky’s grape koolaid scent! I’ll be sticking with this for a while just for the good coverage and the ability to wear white shirts again without stained collars! A star off the rating for drying harshness and smell, but that’s really my complaint with all box dyes and not just this product line.

Just no.
Ordered Sakura pink. My hair was already a dull pink, so I expected this to sit on top and brighten it up. IT TURNED DARK, DARK PURPLE. HOLY CRAP. I was so shocked, I should have taken a photo but I was in panic mode. Thankfully, I had vitamin c tabs and crushed them up, mixed with dish soap and let it sit on my hair for about 20 minutes. Most of the grossness is gone and it's a coral, pink, hot root situation. Going back to lunar tides.Requested a refund on this product and it requires a photo of what was wrong.... Just, save your money and your grief. Don't buy this product.

I didn't expect it to work on Dark Brown hair
About 30 years ago, my grandmother and other seniors all had their hair dyed pastel colors at the salons. It was a fad back then. Now that I am part of the silver club, I want to dye my hair fun colors too. I am glad to find a product that offers permanent color to prevent staining my pillow cases or clothes vs. a semi-permanent or rinse color. My hair is a mixture of white and dark brown to mostly dark brown in the back. I thought it would turn my white hair Sakura Pink and the dark brown a hint of color or none. I was not expecting this dye to turn my whole head of hair the same color. Don't get me wrong, this was beyond my expectations. I love it.In the picture, the dye on face hairline was added afterwards on a part of hair patch I missed ... I don't know if the dye is still active or not to work. Also note that my camera could not pick up the mauve color. In person, the color of my dyed hair js very close to the hair color shown on the box.I have very short hair and used one box, not more than a tbs was left over ... I am going to guess if hair is beyond chin length to shoulders, to saturate hair will need 2 boxes. Note that the box contained a pair of one size fits all glovesTo color my hair with L'oreal or Clairol, I have to leave the dye on my hair for an extra 15 minutes to an half hour. Never using this brand before, I left it on an extra 15 minutes to cover the gray. (hair undyed)The instructions are simple and basic just like all brands, just smaller print. The dye smell is tolerable in a well vented room. The dye is not runny and is a thick cream consistancy. It did not stain my skin even though I got some on my face and a few drops on my arm. I was surprised on the culture marble and fiberglass surfaces, it did not stain and rinsed right off.The 2 minute After Dye Conditioner had a pleasant mild scent ... in tiny print says to apply after towel drying hair. I personally left it in longer than 2 minutes before rinsing in tepid water.Overall I am pleased with the color results and the silky feel it left my hair.

Great product, if they package it correctly.
I will start out by saying this dye works amazing. It took really well, and was exactly as described. Things took a poor turn when I re-ordered it, it arrived over 2 weeks later than the promised date and the box was shoved into this tiny bubble mailer. The packaging ripped open in transit and the interior is wet and gross probably from the developer or maybe rain. It's wet and it smells funny. Amazon will not process a return until after the seller has a chance to correct, so i contacted the seller just now and am waiting for a reply. I will update stars according to response.Update: seller refunded about 24 hours after I messaged them, great response and I ordered again :) shipping mistakes happen
