My husband has lost all of his body fat . He has no fat on his butt . I purchased cushions for him only to be very disappointed. They were hard to sit on . I decided to give purple a try for him . First day he was so thankful for it . Second day he is appreciative of it . My husband is small now he’s at 121 pounds. I’m not forsure if Purple makes a seat larger . For him he’s satisfied with his purchase. It’s pricey however it’s worth it to me .

Best seat cushion I’ve used. Perfect for my current office chair, and my hips and back aren’t sore after a long day at work. Purple products are incomparable.

Purchased a few years ago and it still feels like new. This purple cushion is so amazingly comfy very happy with the royal cushion highly recommend.

I have chronic sit-bone and leg pain. I hesitated to purchase this cushion because of the high price, but it's worth every penny. It didn't cure my pain, but it certainly made sitting at my desk for longer periods of time more bearable. Although it is on the heavier side, the handles on the cover make it fairly easy to move around. I do wish Purple offered a more durable cover for it, specifically for outdoor use. It is expensive compared to some of the others, but the relief it gives me is worth the price. I plan to purchase another one so I can have one at home and a second one in my vehicle. My reasons for giving it a 4-star rating are its slightly heavier weight and the high price. Overall, it's a great cushion!

I had surgery for a complete hamstring rupture and bought this chair pad for my return to my desk job. If you've blown your hamstring off, you know the deal with the pain of learning to sit again after surgery repair, for a very long time. I did a lot of research and bought a few cushions and this is the lucky winner--the design is perfect for weight shift off of direct incisional pain on the seat of the buttock. As you sit, you can continually shift your weight and feel pain relief. Its comfort is matched by its versatility and portability. Thanks, purple!!

Bought this hoping I could use it for airline travel as well as my office chair. I had back surgery a few years ago and have recently been having issues popping up again with discomfort, etc. After a recent trip with a very uncomfortable plane ride, I purchased the Purple Royal Cushion thinking maybe it would help on the next trip. Wrong. An hour into the flight, I just took the cushion out from under me and dealt with the remainder of the journey as best I could. That said, it worked fine as I had some time to kill while waiting to meet up with family at the airport, so I sat on this on the floor to make things a bit more comfortable there (and again when I was early for my return flight and had even more time to kill). As I write this, I am now using the cushion while on my office chair. Day 1 and a few hours in. So far, so good. I adjusted the height of my chair down a bit to make up for the "lift" of the pad itself. Here's to hoping things improve long-term.

When the padding wore out on my pricey Steelcase Leap office chair - I scoured the internet for a butt cushion solution without needing to drop a lot of cash on a new chair which I figured out just wear out again. I am a bit on the heavy side, about 230 lbs and I have found that foam/memory foam cushions out there just get squashed flat and do not provide the support or comfort that I need. I thought long and hard before buying the Royal Purple Seat Cushion because I was extremely skeptical; I have never used a Purple product before, so I did not know what the material that they use on their products was all about. I figured that the material is not memory foam so it might just be the solution I am looking for. Does the product work as advertised? Yes, I have to say that the cushion is comfortable and has taken the pressure off my lower back. I no longer feel like I am sitting directly on my spine which is exactly why I purchased this product. HOWEVER Please be aware that there is a 'break in' period for this cushion. If you are on the heavier side, the edge of the cushion may press firmly against your legs causing them to go numb, which was a huge bummer as I thought this would not work out. My advice is to elevate your legs on some kind of foot stool/rest (about 4 to 5 inches) so that your legs do not press against the edge of the cushion too hard and you do not experience the numbness. After about 2 weeks of 'break in' time, the edges of the cushion have become softer and no longer dig into my legs causing the numbing effect. The Purple Butt Cushion at this point is now perfect - So do not get discouraged if you get the product and experience this - persist and you will be rewarded with a great cushion. Even though I experienced the temporary 'break in' leg numbness, I still give this product 5 stars because I believe it is the best seat cushion solution out there. In fact my wife takes the cushion off my chair all the time and uses it on her chair (I Guess I may need to get another one).

This made a long car trip comfortable. I was also cooler and less sweaty. It gives good support and seems like it will hold its shape well. The size was perfect for the car seat, if placed with the shorter sides at the front and back of the seat. It laid flat that way. Note: you shouldn't leave this on your car seat if the car will get over 100 degrees. So you'll need to move it to a cooler place in your car if you leave it in the car. Since this is fairly heavy to carry around, I don't think I'll use this on an airplane.

Bought one seat cushion and it's fantastic, so I've now ordered 3 more. I'll use 2 - one in the house, one in the car, and hubby will do the same. I've been using memory foam cushions and they flatten out after a little while. These gel cushions are simply awesome. No more painful "bum bones"!
