I'm happy with my purchase
As someone else pointed out in there review the padding that rests on your back is not even. But aside from it being a little crooked this backpack seems very solid. The clips are nothing fancy, but they get the job done. there are some extra pouches put inside some of the individual portions of the backpack, but I feel like it could have used better deviders. The molle straps are thick, and strongly secured. I feel like I can trust them to hold any additional gear I may strap to this bag. Overall I am happy with this purchase, and unless you are some sort of SHTF elitest the pack will suit you just fine over more expensive brands. 4/5 stars, because I will undoubtedly notice the crooked stitch every time I put this pack on.

Value? Yes! Quality? Yes!
I purchased this pack because I wanted a roomy bag to carry every day. I am keeping items inside that help with preparedness. Is it a full out Bug Out Bag? Not yet. Anyway, the LAPG Operator bag arrived on time, and on first impression it was very sturdy. I loaded it up with spare clothes and a few tools. The zippers are smooth. The stitching is solid. The most impressive part for me is how it fits on my back! I'm a large man. 6'1" 300lbs. The waist strap fits around my waist with ease and allows me to tighten it. The sternum strap fits around my chest, allowing me to securely carry the bag anywhere I may go! I'm looking for Molle attachments now to adorn the outside of the rear most pocket. Possibly an IFAK.Pros:CostBuild quality3 grab handles that allow many carry optionsAbility to hold hydration bladderCons:Limited color selectionNo concealed carry pocketsI'd buy it again tomorrow!

Backrest Pads Off Center
This is a great bag, I am planning on keeping it for years, but with that being said...There is a small defect with these bags though, which is why I am only giving this 4 stars. Several parts of the backpack are off-center or slightly out of place, the most notable of which is the back pads. It's not a huge deal, but it makes the backpack feel slightly wonky when it's on your back.I emailed customer service about this and after briefly entertaining my complaint they told me that the back pads are not actually off center, my complaint was due to an optical illusion caused by the zipper. Apparently, all of their backpacks are made with this defect.

Pouchs all day long
I've had this bag for a few months and I love it. I was using it for an edc but it's a tad big. I get dropped off at work and this bag was just overkill. My solution buy a smaller bag and use this for day hikes/bug out bag. The bag is strong and has a ton of compartments for storage. That was the best selling point on the bag. If you want a sturdy bag with lots of storage that's not a "bucket" bag then get this one you won't regret it. On a side note the bag itself is a tad heavy but when all the straps are on and you use the waist strap it is hardly noticeable. I used the bag for a day hike about three weeks ago and it was awesome. I was exahusted by the end of the day but that's just cause I'm out of shape.

Great bag for pickup truck EDC.
I purchased this bag for my pickup truck. At 68, I don't consider myself a survivalist, but I like to be prepared. This bag is ruggedly constructed. The zippers are top notch and it has great interior and exterior space. All of my supplies fit. I have cooking, cover, fire starting, containers and cordage all in one neat bag. I fitted it with a medical kit and basic EDC items that I consider useful in emergency situations. This bag, along with a woolen blanket roll and a military modular sleeping bag puts my safety in good standing. The bag alone is heavy, but again, it very well made. You would be very hard pressed to find a better bag for the money.

Great all around pack
Have been using the pack for a few weeks now and am very pleased with my purchase. I spent hours looking at various backpacks online before purchasing. I wanted a pack that was comfortable and suited for many purposes - I want to use my pack for hiking, going to school sporting events, overnight travel, and everyday use to work. This pack meets all of these needs and is extremely versatile. The quality is great and the pockets are roomy. Plenty of smaller compartments to help you organize gear and supplies. So far I am very happy with the operator pack.

Looking for a bag that is roomy, long lasting ...
Looking for a bag that is roomy, long lasting and very durable, well then, your looking at it. This bag has spacious room to carry many things from medical kits to text books to an extra change of clothes. I carry these three things on me all the time when either at work or in school. I am able to keep both a simple first aid kit and a trauma kit in the front bag and textbook with extra change of clothes in the back bag. All other nick-knacks I am able to keep in both side pockets and the bottom pocket which house small mesh compartments.

A fairly sturdy pack, but with a design flaw preventing simple repairs.
Purchased this for my son for a school pack because he is very hard on his kit. It's very spacious and had plenty of room for all of his books and supplies. The fabric has held up really well, but unfortunately a plastic clip attaching one of the shoulder straps to the base of the bag's body broke which revealed a problem with the pack's design: All of the extra stitching to reinforce the pack prevents the user from slipping off and replacing the clips without tearing out stitches (which would then presumably need to be restitched), so what should be a simple repair cannot be performed. As a result of this broken clip the bag would only be able to be worn over one shoulder which is problematic, so I purchased a different pack to replace it.
