Great product, fits well on the old craftman saw.
Excellent product, this fit my very old craftsman saw very well. I did need to drill and countersink the set screws to attach it to the saw. I will likely get another one for my dado blade.

Works Great on 70 year old Sears Craftsman saw.
The factory aluminum blade insert had taken a beating over the years since 1954. I figured the quality of the saws have not improved over the years so as I was rebuilding the table saw bearings, belts, paint and refinishing the top I might as well replace the insert as well. Fits great. Adjustment screws on the side and end to snug the fit took less than a turn each. I will be purchasing at least one more for my dado set.

Needs shimmed
Overall product was as described , although it did require about .015 shim to make flush with table and I don't care how slow you raise the blade to make your kerf cut that phenolic burns and stinks. I will probably buy another one later for dado blades.

Almost a perfect fit for my maybe 50-year-old Craftsmen bench saw.
My Craftsman bench saw had two hold-down screws, one on each end, which I had to drill and counter sink holes in the plate to secure the plate to the bench surface. I also had to switch the saw blade from a 10 inch to a 7 1/2 inch which is okay because I don't think I'll ever be cutting any thick material anymore.

Great for Vintage Craftsman saw!
I received a broken unit from the supplier as it was shipped in a soft package. The ends are only 3/32" thick so dropping this insert can easily break it. Unfortunately for me I had to wait an extra few days to receive the replacement but I am definitely happy I purchased this insert for my 113.25721 Craftsman table saw. I had terrible chip out while cutting across plywood grain and didn't want to have to use a backer every time to prevent that so I found this insert. This, coupled with the PALS (Precision Alignment System) for the trunion has made my 1950's table saw immensely better to use! I highly recommend it. The adjustment screws on the either end are a bit fiddly to get fitted right to avoid any play in the insert, but once it's set it works great and I have been able to cut oak plywood cross-grain without tearout. Now I wish they made one for my Evolution miter saw. . . .

Good fit for vintage saw
Perfect fit for my vintage (1940's-50's) Craftsman table saw. I have two now - one is for a single blade, the other for dados.

Did not fit my 1970's Craftsman saw
The top outline is correct for my saw, but the first step on my table is twice as thick, which would mean I would have to shim the ZC insert. The show-stopper is that the lower opening in the cast table is smaller on the trunnion side than the insert by about 0.25". I would have tried to shave off the insert, but since it was too thin on the top already, I decided to return it.

Third one and keeping using them
These work and fit great. This is the third one ive bought ( different blades and set ups if your unfamiliar). I have an old craftsman tablesaw that i still love to use, but the cast iron beast was not built with safety in mind. Takes only a little bit of time to set up and has worked perfectly ever since.
