This stuff is nearly tasteless. I use a Blendtec blender that pretty much perfectly blends anything, so I'm not sure how well it will work with other blenders. Apparently it's hydrophobic and hard to dissolve, but in my case it fully mixes with water in my blender.It's really expensive compared to most protein sources, but it's pure protein without any fat or carbs. I drink it alone 3 hours before bed to avoid spiking my insulin by taking in carbs that would be in Whey Protein.

I also have a review for Less Naked Whey in my review history, it's a great product just like this Casein.One of my old athletic trainers used to tell me Casein protein is the "slow drip IV of protein". I have lots of things in life to thank for my size and mostly still muscular frame. I've always believed Casein protein is one of those things. The truth probably is, I'm hypoglycemic and with Casein feeding me throughout my sleep, I wake up feeling energized. For those with low blood sugar, they understand what I'm talking about. I was waking up with blood sugar readings of 37. Using Casein right before bed lets me wake up more in the 65-70 range.This Less Naked Casein chocolate is my favorite. I can take plain unflavored protein, but it has to be mixed with something like oatmeal. These Less Naked Casein and Whey chocolate powders have allowed me a whole new way to snack in the afternoon and at night. I really don't know much about coconut sugar except the anti-sugar crowd speaks against it being the lesser evil of table sugar. To me, it's a good sweetener that makes me feel good.I'm just drinking it as a shake mixed in water. The taste, as others have said, isn't very strong or sweet, but it's good and even has the smell of fresh chocolate. I don't mind the price either. If I wasn't drinking one of these shakes each night, I'd probably be drinking a local soft drink that costs around a dollar each. It's not a big trade-off price-wise and is helping me get back into good shape.Very impressed with this company and their various products. I'm currently using Less Naked Casein, Less Naked Whey and Naked Creatine. I have a 20 year history of taking supplements and believe these are the best I've used. The results are there, but I'm also realistic enough and experienced enough to know I'm eating better and working out more so results should be there. This helps me most with my nighttime cravings.Oh and I put the one negative on Less Naked Whey, had the same problem with the Less Naked Casein, the scoop takes a deep dive into the 5 pound tub. I had to use salad tongs to retrieve both of them. It's not enough to deduct a star, but it's worth mentioning in case someone buys some and thinks they forgot the scoop. It's down in there, you have to dig for it.

Update: great with coffee as a creamer -- use electric stewer frother and you get a nice flat latte 🙂. Good with dark beer too! I have bought this too many times to count.Price isn't TOO bad, I always wish things were cheaper. Flavor is like diluted milk, but makes a great mixer for other flavors. I do not want chocolate or vanilla flavored shakes - - I like concocting my own! Adding crushed leaves of lapsang suchong tea is one of my favorites (smoky flavor)! Just a great mixer. Great product to lose weight, as it fills me up quite a bit, AND provides protein. Haven't found any product that is better.

It’s definitely good quality ingredients. Good, clean protein. However, it’s straight up nasty. To those of you who can just mix it with water and send it back, kudos, you will do well in the apocalypse. Horrible flavor, and you know they know, because they have recipes to make it more appealing. I made the cookie dough from their website… not bad, way better than just the shake by itself. Definitely something to get creative with.

I love this stuff! The smell of the powder is incredible! As far as protein shakes go, this one tastes pretty good. It was drinkable at first, and now I kind of crave my pre-bed shake!After hours of scouring the internet for a brand that doesn't load a ton of garbage and chemicals into "health" food just to make it palatable, I found the "Naked" brand. I'm very happy with my purchases from this brand and I'll continue buying from them in the future. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is the level of head(foam) that is produced on mixing(It's a lot! xD. You can reduce this a lot by filling your blenderbottle up 95% of the way with liquid before putting the powder in, then mix it.). Nothing I'm willing to doc a star for or anything. This product has all the good your body needs, and none of the bad.

I’ve been working out and taking different protein supplements consistently for about 15 years. I decided to try this brand as a cleaner alternative to the casein I had been taking previously, and there were a lot of reviews on this product saying it tasted great and mixed well enough. I’m pretty sure those are either bots or people who work for this company that wrote them because this has to be the worst tasting protein I have ever had. Mix-ability was horrible. No matter how long I shook it up in my shaker bottles it would always end up chalky feeling.I usually take casein before bed, and the previous brand I was using was great because it would help me fall asleep faster. This does the opposite. After I’ve choked down the bottle of it, I lay in bed bloated for about 30 minutes or so before it finally starts to die down so I can sleep.I bought the chocolate flavor, which is a joke because it doesn’t taste anything like chocolate. Eventually I started mixing my Whey protein with this to help make it drinkable.Honestly pretty annoyed that it only comes in a 5lb container. I would have liked to tried a 1lb bag first to see if it was worth the ~$100 I paid for this. I guess I’ll be forcing this down for the next month and a half or so.I get what the company is trying to do by keeping the ingredient count low, and I do appreciate that, but I would suggest a warning that this is going to be VERY different than any thing you’ve probably used in the past.Don’t let the bot reviews fool you!
