Hasika Camping Tent Tarp Extremely Large Canopy with 4 Poles Ripstop Sun Shelter Rainly for SUV Truck Picnic Activities

We LOVE this product. It is manufactured very well and it is now our go-to canopy for beach outings. I need to qualify that the beach we frequent has many trees around, so we are able to secure all 6 corners to trees, rather than using any of the support rods - though we did find the rods to be very strong and a good alternative when needed, although we did purchase three other rods from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Z10D16/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_25) that are good, but not as strong as the ones that came with this shelter. We previously had used a 12x12 pop-up with the metal frame, and this is a far superior product for our needs because it rolls up to the size of a large beach towel and offers waterproof protection underneath, it also doesn't have the bowing that the metal frame does in heavy winds and rain, which we get here in Hawai'i frequently. We don't use the stakes that came with the shelter as we found awesome ones that work in the loosest of sand (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BW7A23Y/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11). Overall we think this is the best shelter tarp you can buy and would absolutely purchase this again.

This awning was surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be. Very lightweight and easy to set up! We used it for camping and one day it rained. we quickly threw this awning up over our campsite and it worked beautifully! completely waterproof and covered our eating area, cooking area and area next to our fire! It really saved our day of rain. Bonus, it fit into a compact small bag! Love it! Sorry I didn't buy this years ago.

I bought this to use car camping. We put it over the picnic table and the back of the van so if it rained, we could be comfortable outside. Many of these types of canopies aren’t big enough for a full size picnic table but this one is pretty big. Nice that way. It took 4 people to set it up. I see in the pictures that some folks use two ropes for the main poles, that could have helped. Once we got it up (which was the most stressful part of a two week vacation and not something I’ll be able to convince my family to try again), it was fairly short. We had to really pull it taught and use trees where we could to get it higher. Even though the poles are 6 feet tall, it didn’t give enough height. Constant ducking was a pain. It stayed up all night. We left for the day and when we returned it was down. The cheap stakes turned in the dry soil allowing the tie lines to slip off in two spots. We didn’t have the patience to get it back up. The forecast said no rain for the rest of the trip so it never came back out. It is pretty hard to get it back into the carry case also. I would have preferred an “easy up” style canopy but we were air traveling to our camping location and had no room for it. This was about the size of my back packing tents when rolled up but twice the weight. I’d return it but our vacation ended after the Amazon return period was over. The material, poles and tie lines seemed of good quality. The sinching mechanisms on the tie lines work well and hold well. Could use more tie lines if you need two on each main pole. Also, the tie lines should be reflective for safety at night. The stakes aren’t worth much. Better to get some that don’t twist in the dirt allowing the rope to slip off. Ensure you have some smart, patient people who are not in a hurry to do anything.

I got this tarp for a trip that I was taking and knew I would need extra shade. The product says that it comes with stakes and ropes. It didn't come with anything except the poles and tarp. Luckily being a good camper I had my own extra stakes and rope. Then came the next fault, it doesn't come with any sort of instruction guide on how best to set up the tarp. No help what so all considering the poles don't stand up on their own and the tarp is very large making it impossible to set up if you are by yourself unless you get creative and have things around you that you can tie parts of it off to. Even with tying it off to my ez-up, and a wooden fence at the camp ground I also had to use camping chairs to hold up the other poles while I tried to stake it down. While the tarp its self is great quality material to hold up to rain and sun, the lack of stakes ropes and instructions make it a horrible buy. Not to mention there is nothing to warn you that unless you have 4 people to set it up, getting it set up is going to be the biggest pain in the ass ever. Which when you're in 104 degree heat trying to set it up only amplifies the crappy forethought they had into who would be buying it and using it and shows zero care about their costumers.

This product serves it purpose. I don’t think that with its longtime use that it will not last as long as I intended. That is still to be proven. The material is definitely water resistant and the poles are sturdy. So far I’m happy with this purchase. Great product for the price.
