I got this for my 8-year-old grandson for Christmas. This is a very well made project. Sturdy parts so no worrying about snapping of a piece of something while assembling it. The parts are held together with various sizes of very small rubber bands. A couple of them were a bit tricky to put on, and I had to help him a few times. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. It works well once it is completed. My grandson was really fascinated with the hydraulic action and especially loved shooting the nerf missiles all over the house. I am writing this in March, and it hasn’t fallen apart yet ! If you have a Lego builder, this will be very enjoyable for him or her!

Awesome colors! Kiddo loves it so much!! It is a little small for me at 6-8, but the kid at 28 inches fits perfectly. Kid drags his foot and it gets caught but he is learning! Really easy to use, just plot the kid in the seat, strap the buckle, and push/guide your adventures. It will be great for years because they can grow out of the baby ride and play with it as a solo ride when they get older. Endless fun and countless time to play with it year after year.

This is one of the coolest things my son and I have ever put together. This will take a couple of sessions to put together, but it is well worth it. I am super impressed with the quality of the pieces as well as the instructions. I would open the recommended age to 12. There are incredible engineering concepts in this that blew me away. I am going to try to add a couple of videos in slow motion so you can see what it looks like.

This item works as advertised. However, it was very difficult to assemble. An older child could do it with assistance. The parts are not easy to remove from the thickest board. There are 3 boards with parts that must be removed. They vary in thickness. Again, they can be removed but it was very difficult on some boards and parts. The directions are good with accompanying pictures. There are many parts so one has to go slow to insure they are assembled as required. Once put together the item worked as advertised, however, the paper planes were difficult to fold and assemble and they did not fly well. The foam missile did fly well and far. It was challenging and took me about 6 hours to build. I chose 10 years of age as a guess for a beginner, and I would also state the child would need assistance with the build. A younger child could possibly build with assistance from an adult. It is not an easy build. Hope that helps.

A good STEM kit for my 9 year old. The instructions are super clear that he needs no help from me. He probably spent at least 30 minutes building it while chatting with us and then he and his brothers play together for quite a while. I would say that the design is sturdy enough that my 4 year old has not yet broken it. We are impressed with how functional it is and is compatible with other toys such as the little ball in the video. My son used that to shoot the balls into the basketball hoop.

My students loved this - it was a huge hit at our STEM expo when the students explained and demonstrated hydraulics. It can help to have an adult or person who’s good at putting things together work with young people - there are multiple pieces to put together. The students demonstrated the launcher for several hours and it held together perfectly. It might be nice if the company offered refills of the planes and foam launchers because they launch far and fast, and can get lost if you’re not paying attention. In general it’s a great project at a great price. My students ate 6-8th grade and it worked well for them, with some guidance.

Best clear instructions I have ever had in any assembly kit. Parts well machined and fit together smoothly yet tight. And finished product works. Really launches far.

This kit was fun to make with my grandson. All the parts were there, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the end product is cool and also engaging to play with. It's a great analog toy that encourages scientific inquiry, fun to see how the hydraulic launcher comes together and works.

Well designed and good quality toy. For the price it is simply worth it. The packing and quality are outstanding. The instructions are well illustrated, the parts are numbered in order for easy assembly. The final assembled toy works as advertised and is fun to play with. For younger kids the assembly may be little daunting but parents can help out as well. For those parents who still harbour the inner child, this kit is simply a blast!

This is an EXCELLENT product. Very good instructions and build is quite complex. Got it for my 5 year old too difficult for him to assemble but very fun to play with supervision. Amazing for older kids for sure. Bravo !

We bought it for my 7-8 year old daughter. She absolutely loved assembling it and enjoyed playing afterwards. Although the product claims it is for 6+, I would recommend it for 7/8 + kids, as they still need some supervision/help to assemble it. Highly recommended if your kids are into STEM toys!!
