I fell in love with these needles the moment I began knitting. The needles are long so they don't stab my palm. I have pretty big hands and I like to hold the needle with my pinky to help manipulate it. The cord doesn't fight to curl up. A lot of people seem to dislike how it does not have a whole lot of memory retention. I absolutely love that. The cord is sturdy yet very flexible and it's appealing to the eye. (If it came in my favorite color it would be a dream come true.) Sock yarn has a tendency to snag where the needle and the cord come together. Not with these babies. Smooth as butter every time. Even if you happen to sinch the yarn pretty tight to keep from laddering it still slides through with very little effort. The tips are nice and sharp. So, I love these needles in every aspect.
