I put this thing on the flapper of my snowblower chute. This is a tractor driven snowblower that was used all 2019/2020 winter and routinely got packed with snow in -15 to +25-degree temps. It's only rated to 0 degrees, works like a champ and hasn't had any problems. Bonus!

Great actuator. Did what is described and work reliably. Had it in an expo display piece where it was in use 8 hours a day for a month. No problems at all.

I bought 2 of them and 1 of them has broken after a few runs. Problem with the stop switch get stuck and it is hard to disassemble to fix the switch

Perfect sleek unit, but I searched for 24 volts unit, found the unit only to realize that this company does not offer a 150 pound force, 24 volts unit with feedback, so I throw it on the shelf for future use and went elsewhere to acquire one that is 150 pounds, 24volts DC, have feedback (resistance or pulse) and extend retract internal limit switch. They are only catering to the bottom end (12 volt systems) of the solar business, since 12volts would create imbalance on your 24, 48 volts solar battery bank.

I didn’t like the fact that it would not work with the LAC board, had to modify it to work with two wires positive and negative used a electronic speed controller to control the steering on a peg perego jeep by remote control
